The Grand Hotel Swansea

Convenient for train station and close enough for city centre

Room wasn't very big for a standard double stayed in other places with bigger rooms and cheaper and all standard double room

The hot tub was brilliant.The Grand never disappoints .Friendly staff from the cleaners to the receptionists.Clean and well appointed rooms. Always my first choice if I have a Swansea trip.

Das Hotel ist, sehr freundlich ausgedrückt, "in die Jahre gekommen". Am dritten Abend um ca. 22 Uhr stand das Bad und unser Zimmer "unter Wasser", weil in einem der Nachbarzimmer geduscht wurde und der Abfluss verstopft war. Der Zimmerservice forderte uns auf, unsere Sachen zu packen und in ein anderes Zimmer umzuziehen. Kein Wort der Entschuldigung, kein Angebot, behilflich zu sein, Das "neue" Zimmer hatte Mängel (Lüftung im Bad funktionierte nicht, keine Möglichkeit, ein Fenster zu öffnen) und es war kleiner als das gebuchte Zimmer. Als Entschädigung wurde uns ein freier Drink in der Hotelbar angeboten.

Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location next to train station and bus stops - very quiet considering this! Superb breakfast.

I like to be able to open the window at night and this isn't possible here.
