Precise House Montaperti Siena

Overall the hotel was ok, but the bathroom needed some maintenance, the cleaning of the room prior to our arrival was poor, the aircon was ineffective and my partner had problems using her hair appliances as the location of sockets and mirrors had not been well planned.

Neat hotel in tiny village- a great place for us to land for our first nite in country. The only challenge was having 4 of us squished in a room for 3.

The room was very modern. Hard mattresses. Easy to Siena for a visit. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding.

We only stayed here one night on our way south. We arrived late and asked for a late checkout so that we could relax by the pool in the morning before heading out and they were very easy going about it and had no problem with us staying and resting a bit longer. We had dinner at the restaurant when we arrived and were incredibly surprised at how great the food was. We had an asparagus risotto and beef fillet that was cooked perfectly. We saw a table near us who had a special meal, that I think you can order in advance, that looked incredible and they also left very happy. The pool is beautiful and relaxing and is a great spot to unwind. We didn't stay in the neighborhood but it was easy to find and the parking was easy. We were also very surprised at the amount of food at the buffet breakfast. We were late getting there but they let us sit and eat before they put it away and it was much more than what we had at other hotels in Italy. They still have the traditional breads, meats, cheese, yogurt but also had a great scrambled eggs with zucchini and probably other great stuff that we missed since we got there when it was closing. Our only negative comment would be that the hotel seemed rundown, as if it had been updated years ago and nothing had been done since then. But it was very clean and with the staff, food and amount of space, we would definitely stay here again (and spend more time at the pool).

Very nice hotel, very good breakfast. Mini-fridge and pool were nice perks. The staff was very helpful, informative and friendly. The hotel is overall well decorated and modern. The only drawbacks were a very hard bed, thin pillows and a malfunction in the kitchen which caused a smell of smoke coming into our room through the AC (The staff offered to change our room, but when the problem was fixed an hour later the smell subsided and we stayed with the same room).

we loved our stay. this was a real gem in the middle of tuscany. it was centrally located. the rooms were great. there is a beautiful view of the hills from the outside pool deck. the food at the restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was as good as any 5 star hotel we have been to. they even had squeeze your own orange juice and hot breackfast. all included. we will definitely stay again on our next visit to this area.

This hotel was literally a breath of fresh air. Located about 20 minutes by car or bus (runs in front of hotel) outside Sienna, it was a gem. There is a pool and weight room, good breakfast, ample free parking, nice rooms with great views of the countryside. If you want to stay away from the crowds, this is perfect.

A good hotel to high standard but nearly impossible to find (and I speak Italian!). As other reviewers have said, it is a wonderful central place from which to explore Siena, the Chianti etc. but they really must do something about supplying prospective clients with directions.
