Baldpate Inn

Staffs are nice. However it is old and way outdated. I should have read reviews before I booked. Curtains were missing in the room, and floor was uneven. Luckily I only had to spend a night there and would not come back again.

This in is definitely worth the stay just for the experience.

We loved the balpate it is a 100 old inn. Bathrooms are shared and down the hall. very quiet and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing!!!!!!!!!

Loved the hummingbirds! The property is rustic and well cared for.

Didn’t realize bathrooms were down the hall, would not have booked if I had known. No soap in bathroom , very inconvenient. I’m sure this was a great place back in the day but needs renovation! Breakfast was provided but sadly found hair in more than one of our plates, human and dog. Pricey for what you get.

Information on the hotel did not mention that the bathrooms were common ones down the hall from the guest rooms. Since most US hotels have in room toilet facilities I feel this notation should be included as people prepare to book reservations.

The place is really run down, needs a lot of work. The best things about it were the deck looking at the mountains and the food. The owner apparently is the one who does the cooking and baking. She is really good.

This hotel had populated for the area of Estes Park, and from the pictures and location was appealing. This hotel offers easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, Trailridge, and also the Town of Estes park. Both the location of this hotel and pricing fell midline. However this hotel does lack certain conveniences, such as dirt bumpy road to get to, and 2 flights of stairs to the Inn's inner suites, which some suites don't have their on bathrooms. There also seems to be a shortage of outlets in rooms, and had found myself needing to have cords across the room as tripping hazards. The rooms also do not have any TV's, and no thermostats in room.

I emailed Baldpate Inn and advised them that I had rented a room for one night for my son and his new wife. This was a wedding present. My son called me on the day they arrived and said they upgraded their room to a cabin. He was thrilled. Thank you to Baldpate Inn!!

No bathroom facilities in room. Shower and toilet down hall. Sumner nights -no screens on windows, no ceiling fan- no air conditioner. Enjoyed historic value and breakfast. Key room very interesting. Worth a one night stay but not two or three. Expensive!! We book a 3 night visit thru Expedia - left after 2nd night - no refund!!
