Rondel Village

I was impressed with: 1. The beauty of the property - the architectural design of the buildings, landscape, and entrance into the Garden side courtyard - was breathtakingly beautiful. 2. Reception staff, at check-in, they were courteous and greeted us with smiles. 3. The entire village staff - security guards, housekeepers, landscapers - were exceptionally kind, friendly, helpful, and happy at work. Special staff members who deserve mentioning are Rihanna, Jenae, Oshane, Ms Ivy, Veronica, Mr Clive, Mr Gregory, and especially Nov 11th, 2024 beach front gate night guard (he was so wonderful, understanding, and kind - thank you, thank you, thank you, sir!) 4. Jay Bird Restaurant - the atmosphere, servers, chef, food, table setting, cost - were beyond beautifully perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and satisfying. With it being located on the beautiful 7 mile beach, the tropical plants and flowers, the music, the island breeze, and the outstanding friendly staff made this choice a perfect five-star. Kudos to Shela and the entire Jay Bird staff for looking out for the hungry and thirsty 9:00 p.m. stragglers. 5. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. 6. The air conditioning and iron worked very well.

1. The rooms could stand an upgrade to modern furniture, decor, and a neutral color interior paint on the garden side properties. Currently, the rooms and bathrooms are a bit drab. 2. The inequalities between the Garden side and Beach front properties. (Garden side guests would also love to have access to a coffee/tea pot and cups in the room since breakfast is not included.)

I have stayed here four times now, I think? Rondel Village is a really special place and totally what you want if you want to stay somewhere comfortable and safe that isn't a big corporate resort. It's affordable, the staff are incredibly kind and sweet, it's right off the beach. The restaurant and bar are very good. Shoutout to Delroy the bartender in particular who is an absolute rockstar. People have been coming to this spot for decades to chill with Delroy. They are lucky to have him. My only advice is that the resort straddles the main road. The Jungle nightclub is next door on the garden side and it can be very loud late into the night. If you want to party, no problem. If you want peace and quiet, beach side is the way to go.

I love the location of the property right on the beach. Their restaurant served good food. The staff was awesome. The only con is the bathrooms need upgrading.

Accessibility to everything. Pleasant, corteous, helpful staff. Special respect to the groundsman who keep the gardens looking beautiful. Housekeepers, great job.

Hot water everyday was a plus

I was very satisfied wih my stay. Definitely recommend staying there. I was refer to this place by buba Nash from flagcity seafood grill. Love it. Staffs are are warm and inviting. Just comfortable all around.

It was at a central location where all the important shops are nearby.

The layout is very nice, very clean and quiet. Seems small but there are two sides to the hotel.

Parking seems very limited. I had a short stay so I may have not seen the additional parking.
