voco Formosa Park – Algarve

Wij zijn hier jaren geleden al een paar keer geweest en wisten hoe mooi hotel dit was. En nu na zoveel jaar nog steeds een heerlijk hotel. Je hoeft niet op je bed te zitten omdat het allemaal appartementen in het hotel zijn. Wij hadden een extra groot appartement gekregen. Ons verzoek was aan zwembad kant en dat was het dan ook. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Auto nodig om ergens naar toe te gaan, alleen naar het strand loop je binnendoor in ca 8 minuten. Goed restaurant, bij mooi weer ook buiten eten.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Formosa Park Apartment Hotel. Waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort und sind wieder nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, der Service ist erstklassig und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist eine eher ruhige Location, Strandnähe circa 10 Minuten zu Fuß

Sehr nettes Appartement mit Balkon und mobilen Sonnenschutz, Fliegengitter und genug Licht!, . Auch für Nichtgolfer. Sauberer Swimmingpool, kleiner Spielplatz Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder hin.

Rauhallinen paikka, ranta lähellä, hyvät ulkoilureitit vieressä, samoin golf-kentät.

Excellent staff and service. Brilliant stay

Hotel was over booked so didn't have a room on arrival so sent us to their sister hotel which is claimed to be 5star. However, our reason for choosing Formosa park was to enjoy an Apartment, whereas the Dona Filipa was room and breakfast, so we had no self catering availability, and all drinks/food was greatly more expensive, so cost much more to stay than our original plan.

We arrived very late but had a wonderful welcome and had been upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was enormous, two double bedrooms, two large bathrooms , a huge lounge diner and fitted kitchen. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped (no kettle or oven) but we managed well without them. The beds were so comfortable (firm) and the bed linen was top quality. Breakfast was very good and had a wonderful selection to suit all tastes. The nearby beach is only a five minute walk and was practically deserted while we were there , however we were charged 22 euros for the sunbeds just for an afternoon so did not use them again (they are not connected to the hotel). I had read in previous reviews that the hotel is quite remote so booked a hire car and you really do need one as there are no shops close by. I had also read that the hotel is widely used by groups of golfers which it is but that was not a problem. The only disappointment was the apartment we were given only overlooked the back car park and the sun did not shine onto the balcony at any time of the day.

Staff were very helpful & friendly. Room was amazing. Only a short stay but wished it was longer & close to the beach. Would highly recommend!

Very nice hotel and staff are superb! Close to the beach (if you don't mind a short hill). Breakfast could be improved but other than that excellent.
