Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Carmel

Hotel has some great features: in room kitchen setup. But some updates are needed. Bed and pillows not great. Breakfast just ok. It sufficed for our stay.

The beds were horribly uncomfortable, the building needs major renovation, mold on tiles in ceiling, water spots all ove ceiling in rooms, ceiling in bathroom fallible apart, no exhaust fan in either bedroom. Temperature in room never under 76 degrees,even if we were in the room. Just not a good stay at all

Great amenities with an indoor and outdoor pool option.

We had a great stay, the room was clean and large, we couldn't hear the neighbors in the room next to us at all, and the room darkening curtains were the best I've ever seen! Seriously, they blocked out ALL the light/sun from outside. The hotel itself seems a little outdated and kind of dirty (there was ALWAYS trash sitting by all the trash cans and in the stairwell, but the room was clean and we didn't have any issues. The breakfast area was HUGE but I was kind of disappointed by the selection of food, it was nothing special. We stayed 2 nights and the second morning went to Lincoln Square Pancake House instead and it was AMAZING (highly recommend their pancakes). The area around the hotel seemed safe and LOTS to do within about a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was not ready at check in time. Multiple pieces of trim in room were falling off walls. Stopper in tub was not attached. Housekeeping didn't come to make up room one day as requested. Breakfast was good (with exception of scrambled eggs which were devoid of flavor). I would suggest adding bananas to the fruit selection. Staff was responsive when called upon. Special acknowledgement to (I hope I get his name right) Eric who needs to be put in more of a customer-facing role.

The room was clean. How ever the tub /show was very slippery. The Hotel was booked, But the Hot Tub was Green and the Pool was Murky. Breakfast was good. Opinion: They need more Help, maybe parttime?

Hotel is absolutely disgusting. Breakfast was the only decent thing about it. Staff is terrible too. Stay away from this location at all costs. Go down the road to the Home 2 Suites. The manager of this hotel is clueless as to what managing a hotel should look like.
