Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Carmel

While the layout of the room was well-designed and comfortable, we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. There was a used bar of soap left in the shower, and the extra blanket appeared to have been previously used — it was unfolded and had hair on it. Additionally, we found a sticky residue on the floor near the bed, and both the bathroom sink and tub drained extremely slowly. The night stand, cabinets including the window sill were dusty. More concerning was that the window in our room would not lock. When we brought this to the attention of the staff member on duty that night, we were told nothing could be done until the following morning. As a result, we had to sleep in a room with an unsecured window, which made us feel unsafe. We ended up improvising a temporary solution to secure it ourselves so we could rest with some peace of mind. The one bright spot during our stay was the staff member who came to address the insecured window the next day. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and provided excellent customer service.

Only bad thing I have to say about this stay was Expedia says the minimum check in age is 18, when showing up the front desk asked if we had anyone 21. Im 4 months from being 21 so she manager overrided it, so big plus for the staff but bad advertising for the app

This is one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was supposed to be cleaned every other day and in the week we were there it wasn’t cleaned once. The fitness center had equipment that didn’t work. We had to ask for towels, toilet paper, and trash can liners. We also had to ask for the ants in the room to be taken care of. There was trash lining the halls along with used towels on a daily basis. If the hotel staff was actually at the front desk (be right back sign was frequently up for more than 15 minutes), they were rude and not helpful. It was an inconvenience for them to be available to help their guests.

Bad service at check in. Hilton app didn’t function. Room door doesn’t lock on closing. Bugs. Cobwebs. Garbage bucket in hall in front of each door. No Diamond Member parking. Automatic drapes did not function. Overall, the worst Hilton property I’ve ever stayed

Great location for a quick stop. Room was big with a small kitchen. Easy parking and quiet location. Good breakfast and pool.

Lacked cleanliness however looked like they were working on renovations

Close to everything we were visiting. Breakfast was good every morning but could have been alittle warmer.

Room was not cleaned or ready on our arrival. We had to ask everyday for something, whether it was towels, toilet paper, or tissues. Room wasn't stocked on arrival. There was all types of construction going on in and around the building and property.

Clean room and breakfast was very good. Even with the remodeling going on the building was quiet and clean.

It was under construction and not well kept. The management never spoke to me about it. Very disappointed.
