Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort - All Inclusive

If you are looking to expierence a place with amazing food, upbeat employees with great customer service skills then unfortunately this is not the place for you. While the scenery was great, the staff was not. If you weren't tipping every time you got a drink, majority of them were super rude and standoffish. I believe 11 restaurants were advertised, which is just a straight up lie. Unless you were "privilege" you were not getting a table at the "reservation only restaurants." The other 3 restaurants had about 10 tables in each so every single night there was a huge wait and we were pretty much forced to eat at the buffet. The buffet was like a horrible Golden Corral fever dream. All of the food looked fake and like it had been sitting there for days. When we brought up concerns with guest services we were dismissed and one lady even rolled her eyes at me. This place was an absolute joke and you could not pay me or give me "privilege" to come back to this hell hole. The "vendors" aka hagglers would also constantly hassle you literally the entire time you are on the beach, not to mention completely scam you. I counted 12 times in under 30 minutes, I was approached by the same scammers. They would sit and watch you like a herd of blood thirsty dogs ready to pounce on a heavily decomposed carcass. I did buy an anklet and it literally all of the charms fell off the next day . I also purchased from the night "vendor" they had, in which I was told my product was petrified wood. Very soon I found out it was concrete made to look like wood and broke in my on my travels back home. Save yourself some money and find an actual all inclusive resort, Mexico was truly all-inclusive with amazing staff and food. also don't use any of the toiletry items, I'll post photos and you'll see why. Don't get me started on the sun beds. Every morning we would be first at the pool and every single sun bed was taken yet there wasn't a sole in sight. They have a giant sign stating "Don't reserve the sun beds if you aren't using the pool." Unless you remove someone else's towels, which I did, you aren't getting close to the pool or getting an umbrella. The only thing this place has going for it is the entertainment, the flamingo/ wildlife, and the scenic views. The best time I had was off the resort golfing and deep sea fishing because we got to eat off the resort. 0/10 not recommending to anyone or ever coming back here. Will be putting this on every review sight there is!

Everything is good

The experience was amazing! Shaggy, Happy Boy, and the workers for the entertainment group were extremely fun. They make every feel safe and have a great time on their vacation. Definitely recommend to others!

It is our last day and we will be sad to leave this wonderful resort. Our butler Harry was brilliant as were the pool waiters Jose and Daniel. We pre booked the privilege offer and it was well worth it. Our room was block 6 second story with a balancing facing ocean and another one facing the pool. The maids were very good and did swan towel arrangements with flowers and petals most days. If we asked for anything extra eg umbrellas, new bathrobes etc they quickly supplied this. We hoped we tipped all who helped fairly well for there services Something for everyone here ladies at spa Mirabel, Yolande (beach massage),entertainers, aqua aerobics, Van (recommended 1/2 day catamaran snorkeling) Elvin, Felix, man Barman at piano bar. Antonio at privilege beach bar and many others THANKYOU

Beautiful resort (I took very long walks and I think Ocean Blue & Sand has the best beach), everyone we spoke with was very friendly and helpful, and they had lots of food options for my picky teenager. The entertainment at night was more than we were expecting, the Michael Jackson show was great! Our butler Ismael was so helpful & friendly, and got us all the reservations we wanted. He made our stay extra special!

Breakfast service at Privilege took a long time to get a waiter's attention. Also, there aren't enough cabanas, and those are all somehow reserved by people in the middle of the night -- if you wait til 8am you will be too late to get one for the day.

This was our second stay at Ocean Blue & Sand in Punta Cana within a year, and it confirmed exactly why we came back! There is always something to enjoy—from bowling and laser tag to silent parties and lively pool and beach activities. You can be as relaxed or as active as you want. What truly sets this resort apart is the people. The pool staff are incredible—Antonio, Joneiry, Willie, Jose, Rayner, Manuel, Hugo, and the two Ramons always made our days more fun. The Blue Entertainment team brings great energy, and the Piano Bar bartender makes the best lychee martinis every time. A very special thank you to Victor, the Privilege Manager, who goes above and beyond to ensure guests have an exceptional experience. Dining was another highlight—the steakhouse was consistently excellent with top-notch service and no long waits. Our honeymoon suite was always clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea. This is a cost-effective resort that delivers great value. If you’re expecting ultra-luxury like the Ritz, this may not be the place—but if you want a fun, welcoming atmosphere with amazing staff and plenty to do, you’ll absolutely love it. .
