Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Tive uma experiência maravilhosa no Ocean Blue & Sand. Minha hospedagem superou as expectativas em todos os aspectos. A variedade e a qualidade das comidas e bebidas oferecidas no sistema all inclusive foram excelentes, com opções muito bem preparadas e um atendimento impecável nos restaurantes e bares. As instalações do resort são lindas, organizadas e extremamente confortáveis, proporcionando uma experiência relaxante e agradável durante toda a estadia. Além disso, o grande diferencial foi a cordialidade e atenção de todos os profissionais, sempre muito educados, prestativos e preocupados em oferecer o melhor atendimento possível. Sem dúvida, foi uma experiência incrível em Punta Cana, e eu voltaria novamente com muito prazer.

The room and overall the facilities were clean, well-kept and modern The food was decent

Beach loungers that had an umbrella were fully reserved by other guests as early as 7AM- some even left their towels on overnight in spite of signs forbidding this. As a result, you could not find a place on the beach in the shade even though the beach was 60% empty for most of the day. When we approached the consierge to flag the issue, he claimed there is nothing the hotel could do about it. Overall the services and general attitude of the employees (especially the restaurant staff) could be improved.

Première fois en all inclusive, première fois à punta cana et on a vraiment pas été déçu de l’hôtel. La chambre était spacieuse et nettoyée tous les jours. On avait quelqu’un qui venait nous déposer des bouteilles d’eau tous les 2j, et on pouvait en prendre plus que 2. Ensuite vu les commentaires en général sur la nourriture dans les all inclusive, on appréhendait un peu mais le buffet était tout simplement divin ! On y mangeait matin et soir Nous l’avons personnellement trouvé mieux que tous les restaurants. Le seul restaurant que nous avons vraiment aimé est le japonais. On est pas tombé malade de tous le séjour. Personnel à l’écoute, notre majordome Victor était disponible et à l’écoute de nos besoins: réservations de restaurants, lessive, programme du jour à l’hôtel. Très bonne communication Enfin l’hôtel en lui même est bien entretenu, la piscine était propre, la plage aussi ! Au global on a passé un très bon séjour à Ocean blue and sand , je recommande.

Le gros problème pour moi serait l’insonorisation qui n’est pas top. Très tard le soir, on entendait les gens qui rentraient de soirée , qui riaient ou criaient … c’est dérangeant quand on a un sommeil léger Côté piscine , il n’y a définitivement pas assez de parasol pour tous le monde.

Comida deliciosa, tudo muito bem feito e de qualidade. Hotel inteiro muito limpo e organizado.

A brinquedoteca tem horário para cada faixa etária. Fui com meus dois filhos de 1 ano, a brinquedoteca estava vazia, mas não pude usar pois no horário que fui era para crianças maiores (que nem estavam usando o local)

We stayed at Ocean Blue & Sands in Bávaro, Dominican Republic from Saturday, April 11th through Saturday, April 18th, in room 6115. Overall, our experience was good, and the resort itself is beautiful, very clean, and offers plenty of daily and nightly entertainment. Many staff members were friendly and truly made a positive impact on our stay. Things finally turned around on Wednesday, April 15th, when we met Chef Eligio. From that moment on, he went above and beyond to ensure my wife had safe and enjoyable meals. His care and professionalism made a huge difference, and we are very grateful for him. There were also several standout team members who contributed positively to our stay: Emely at the Front Desk Bejasmin at the Coffee Shop Manuel (blue guayabera) at Carey y Tortuga Buffet and Blue Moon Restaurant Osvaldo in Housekeeping Luis (night busboy) at Carey y Tortuga Buffet Amable the Butler The entire entertainment team Because of these individuals, we were close to rating this stay a 10/10—especially since the last three days were much better.

However, our experience was significantly affected by my wife’s food allergies (corn, gluten, onion, garlic, and dairy). For the first five days, it was extremely challenging to find safe meal options. Unfortunately, most servers and cooks did not seem knowledgeable about ingredients or show much concern when we asked for help. At one point, a hostess at Villa Marina even suggested that I “Google the ingredients,” which was disappointing and not what you expect at a resort of this level. Unfortunately, our final experience dropped the rating back down. On Friday night, I spoke in Spanish with Javier at the front desk and clearly requested a 7:00 AM pickup from our room, as our transportation was arriving at 7:15 AM. Instead, the request was incorrectly logged for 7:15 AM. As a result, no one arrived, and we had to walk over half a mile on cobblestone paths with all our luggage to avoid missing our flight. It was a stressful and frustrating way to end our trip—especially knowing there was no language barrier, as Spanish is my native language. Final Thoughts & Recommendation: Ocean Blue & Sands is a beautiful and well-maintained resort with many amazing employees who truly care. However, there is a clear need for better systems and training—especially regarding food allergies and guest logistics. I strongly recommend: Assigning a trained staff member or liaison for guests with food allergies Ensuring each restaurant has a knowledgeable chef available at all times to discuss ingredients Improving communication accuracy for important guest requests like transportation With these improvements, this resort could easily deliver a consistent 10/10 experience.

The rooms were very specious and clean. Beach was clean and with white sand. Food is great in each restaurant. We also had our private battler Viktor who was always very helpful and available for helping with reservations in the restaurant or to answer any questions we had. He was guiding us through the whole stay. Also Manuel, pool bartender, and others 2 who helped him during our stay were great, kinds and funny.

It would be great if staff would speak more English as we had some difficulties in communicating.

El olor a guardado y la humedad horrible y habían salamandras por todas partes,casi no dormía que ese mal olor más las salamandras.

La experiencia en el Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort ha sido excelente. Queremos destacar especialmente a Víctor Checo, nuestro anfitrión, que fue inmejorable: siempre atento a nuestras necesidades y muy pendiente de que nuestra estancia resultara realmente agradable. Las instalaciones y la playa son de ensueño, y el personal del hotel se caracteriza por su amabilidad y trato cercano. Reservamos a través de Booking y tuvimos la suerte de alojarnos en una habitación de la zona Privilege, frente a la playa 🏝️, lo que marcó una gran diferencia. La oferta gastronómica es muy completa, con una amplia variedad de restaurantes (en algunos es necesario reservar el mismo día, y merece mucho la pena), además de un buffet realmente excelente. La animación es increíble, con shows y muchas actividades divertidas a lo largo de todo el día. Como gran punto a favor, limpian el sargazo al menos dos veces al día, lo que permite disfrutar de una playa muy limpia.

En general, el hotel es fabuloso. No obstante, como observación de mejora, sería conveniente revisar y supervisar la empresa que organiza las excursiones y salidas turísticas que opera dentro del hotel. Realizamos un paseo a Isla Saona, que es un auténtico paraíso, pero para disfrutar allí apenas dos horas y media, se perdió prácticamente todo el día. Un trayecto que debía durar unos 40 minutos hasta el puerto terminó tomando casi 5 horas, debido a una muy mala organización. La experiencia fue decepcionante y, sinceramente, una verdadera pena.
