Waterfront Inn

Waterfront Inn is so wonderfully located at the end of the harbor such that we are able to just sit in our room during the cold times and watch the water activity. It is also in easy walking distance of restaurants.

The walk down to 3 of the rooms has some steep terrain that would be good to know for anyone who struggles with walking. The surface to walk on is rough enough such that you don't easily slip even when the ground is wet.

Location on the water

I love being right on the water in Gig Harbor. The views are so pretty even in the winter months. There are several restaurants nearby (walkable) and everything else in the harbor is within an easy few minute drive. The room was a little larger than a typical hotel room and it had a nice sized bathroom with a glass shower. The sitting chairs and gas fireplace made it feel a little more like home.

If you book rooms on the lower level (closest to the water) you will need to carry your luggage up/down stairs. If you know this ahead of time (as I did), it is not a big deal - just plan accordingly and pack a manageable bag. I could see some people being caught off guard by it though. I would suggest reaching out to the owners if you feel like you might need help with this aspect. Maybe there is a ramp or easier way that I just don't know about.

This is a clean, comfortable and charming inn with a beautiful view of the harbor. The location is amazing.

Perfect location as I could walk to cafe's, shops, restaurants, and wine bars! Though I didn't have a waterfront/view room, I enjoyed walking to the large deck/pier where I could sit and enjoy the view while sipping a glass of wine!
