Waterfront Inn

I am hesitant about writing this review and making reservations more difficult at The Waterfront Inn when word gets out. The Inn is the only accommodations directly on the water with a large deck over the water and use of kayaks. You can't beat the million dollar view and spotting the resident seals in the water. The waterfront room was immaculate with a Keurig machine, mini-fridge, TV, desk, A/C and a fireplace and a small deck in front of the entry door for sitting and enjoying the view. There were also plenty of USB ports around the room. The common area hall provides snacks, a small ice machine and a microwave for the popcorn provided or for reheating leftovers from the many places to eat. Gig Harbor is a charming small harbor town with a serene setting, It is very walk-able with plenty of restaurants to chose from, shops and galleries and the people are pleasant and friendly. Being about a 45 minute drive from downtown Seattle or 35 minutes from SEA airport, it is a quick way to escape the city and enjoy the a more peaceful setting as well as using it as a gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. This was our third stay and we enjoyed each one very much. Patsy and Mike are genuinely welcoming and friendly hosts and do everything possible to make your stay a great experience.

What a beautiful inn! It was very comfortable, beautiful views across the harbor, and loved the location. We were two couples who occupied two of the lovely rooms on the bottom level with straight-on views of the harbor. We also enjoyed the porches together in the evening. We went to The Devoted Kiss for breakfast and Anthony’s for dinner; both within walking distance. The only negative would be the parking situation near the garage. My advice would be to try to get one of the top four parking spots since the steep driveway is a little tricky to get back up—or it was for us in our rental car.

Amazing location on the water. Rooms in a beautiful home. Furnishings first class. Soothing music as we entered the room set the mood for the stay. We both felt such comfort and so relaxed. Spent hours just sitting on the terrace watching the activities on the water.

Beautiful location right on the harbor. Loved having the use of the kayaks and paddle boards.

Great communication, on-site parking, and the amenities. Was a great choice! Able to walk to places and enjoy the atmosphere of Gig Harbor.

Gorgeous place containing everything we needed, clean & superior standard. Patsy and Mike could not have been more helpful when we were checking in. The outside decking was lovely to sit out, chilling, reading your book & relaxing with beautiful views of the habour

This is our second year with Patsy and Mike. Super hosts. Wonderful accommodations. Beautiful setting. Back again next year.

This place is magical! The Inn is amazing and the Managers do a superb job at running it. It truly is “picture perfect”. Can’t wait to go back!!
