The Harbour House

Good location and it's awfully cute, but our room was small, the bathroom was cramped and our twin beds were uncomfortably hard.

The Harbour House was a lovely place to stay while at Prince Edward Island. We were very comfortable in our beautifully decorated spacious room which had everything for comfort included. The breakfasts were so tastefully set up and delicious.

Everything was beyond my greatest expectation!

Although ideally situated, it is hardly a boutique establishment. The photographs on the website suggest a delicious, sumptuous breakfast when in fact it is dull, bland and uninspiring. We asked the management about this and they confessed that they have not updated the website for over a year and no longer provide some of the selections shown in the photographs. There is an air of tiredness about the place and the public areas smelt rathermusty.

Ideally located for walking to Charlotte town.

The breakfast was incredibly dull and uninspiring and nothing like any of the images on the website. The public areas also smelt musty and the whole place was rather tired.

It was beautifully restored and maintained with lots of little sitting nooks. The laundry facilities onsite were reasonably priced and laundry detergent/fabric softener were provided free of charge. The breakfast area felt homey and comfortable and provided a good selection of beverages, pastries and breads. The hot breakfast items were chosen from 6 selections made for you and arrived hot. The location was ideal for exploring downtown on foot.

The bed was not comfortable and both my husband and I woke up stiff and sore both mornings.

Very quiet hotel, friendly staff, good location

The location was good. The common area was attractive. Our local highlight was the nearby restaurant Slaymaker & Nichols which has excellent food and creative cocktails.

Our room was in the basement next to the inn's laundry facilities. No windows. No idea if other rooms are better. Breakfast was perfunctory, meager and not particularly appetizing.

Everything at The Harbour House was perfect! The off street parking, the location to downtown, the cleanliness, comfort and wonderful breakfast! The staff was also very helpful and friendly! Top notch!
