Very nice. Continental breakfast could use upgrade. Also some type of vanity or table for in bathroom for toiletries etc would be nice. Tv stations and directions to use need better. Overall very nice.

Had I known the temperature in the rooms were not individually controlled I would not have booked this property. It was warm the afternoon we checked in and the window in the bathroom was open. That should have been our first clue. When I called service they told us that there are only two thermostats for the entire building and for our "convenience" there was a fan in the closet. The room was warm and the fan, along side with the noise from outside, made it an uncomfortable nights sleep. The next evening they turned the AC on so it was better. In addition, we had early plans and had intended on grabbing something from the continental breakfast which was supposed to be put out at 7:00 am, at 7:15 no breakfast was available so we went on with our day.

"High end historical boutique hotel. Highly, highly recommend!"

10.0

This boutique hotel is top notch! Adorable historical home holds several, custom rooms full of luxury linens in a quiet setting. Highly recommend! The most inexpensive room I’ve booked in years! Close to museums, high end dining and shopping.

"Cozy and convenient business trip"

8.0

I chose the Satchel Page room because it was available for a week and also because it doesn’t have a room above or below it. I was very happy with my choice. It was cozy with a comfy bed and lots of pillows. They provide a fan which was needed because temps were in the 90’s. They also provide a sound machine which was helpful. If you are a person who wants to see staff on site or have your bed made everyday then this is not the place for you. If you want private comfort in a lovely historic setting then you will like it here. The area is very walkable and I did not have a car. I didn’t need one.

I like the comfort of this bed-and-breakfast The beds were comfortable to sleep in The bed-and-breakfast has a nice area with several porches. It was very close to the art museum and the plaza area. There is a park nearby that was beautiful. This is a place. I would definitely recommend.

"If you want a museum…."

4.0

I like the idea of historic building hotels but not when that includes paper thin walls, creaky wood floors, worn pillows and air duct vents that look like they haven’t been cleaned in decades. Our room was freezing and there was no way to adjust the temperature. This place needs a thorough remodel. If you like staying in a museum this place is for you.

"Cool B&B"

8.0

We never received our codes to check in so had to call to get them which took some extra time. Our room was awesome- the Kathryn Winstead! The bed was comfortable- the bathroom beautiful and a lovely deck we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked on. Parking was frustrating. We got back late - after a football game. The way people parked did not leave room for us so we had to park on the street 2 blocks away. Breakfast was ok- any bread for toast was not found. All that was available were croissants. I dug around and found some yogurt. It’s a cool place to stay- just had a few frustrations.
