Koyao Island Resort

I had an amazing time at Koyao Island Resort. Very peaceful and stunning view. The staff were always kind and willing to help. Can't wait to come back!

冬天和夏天都来住过。这个位置的海景非常美，每套villa 空间足够大，掩映在沙滩边的椰树林中，布局非常好，既不会觉得疏离也有足够的隐私。全木头的材料很有度假感，很舒服。餐厅，泳池，bar 的设计也很棒，总之品味是在线的。这个酒店生孩子前生孩子后来了四次了，虽然有一些小瑕疵，但是综合来说，非常棒。 可以免费使用独木舟和桨板。

这次入住的家庭套房淋浴的水量有点小，蚊子有点多。好在有蚊帐和好几种灭蚊方式，不算太糟糕。早餐如果可以每天换一换内容就更好了 。

The stunning beachfront location provided breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere - it felt like a private paradise! The villas were beautifully designed, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings while offering all the comfort and amenities we needed.

Honestly, this is our favorite place in Thailand. Paradise and the staff is amazing. The papaya scrub was fabulous. The clientele is See you next year!

Koyao Island Resort benefits from a beautiful setting, well-kept grounds, and direct access to the beach. The staff were a highlight of our stay — very responsive and always eager to help. However, we felt the overall experience did not fully match the high price point. The villa was quite small and not as clean as expected, with some issues such as mosquitos and even cockroaches. The restaurant was convenient but offered average food at premium prices, and the WiFi was unreliable. While the location and service are commendable, improvements in room cleanliness, comfort, and dining would be needed to make the resort feel like good value compared to other options on the island.

Our Thailand adventure began in 2015. We searched far and wide online for authentic, unspoiled experiences and stumbled upon an article in The Guardian. In the article, only a handful of resorts were highlighted as truly exceptional. Over the course of our six trips to Thailand, we have visited every destination it recommended and in 2018, we stayed at Koyao Island Resort on Koh Yao Noi for the first time. In 2025, we returned. Even though this visit marked the end of a six-week journey filled with incredible experiences, you still find yourself holding your breath as the longtailboat glides ashore on the beach in front of the resort. Everything is breathtakingly beautiful — from the roughly 15 unique villas in front of the private Beach, to all the limestone cliffs rising dramatically from the bay. Service here is truly exceptional; you can feel that the staff are genuinely invested in ensuring every guest has a remarkable stay. It’s not a cheap place to stay, but this is a perfect example of price reflecting quality — and then some. The food is prepared with great care, and while there are other dining options within walking distance, the atmosphere and experience at the resort’s own restaurant are on another level. At the reception, every inquiry is met with remarkable efficiency and care We are endlessly grateful for the warmth and care we received from everyone at the hotel, making our stay truly unforgettable. This is just a picture perfect resort. Amazing views from the garden, the villas and the pool! The staff is super friendly and the restaurant super tasty - highly recommend!
