Unparalleled location and style for a relaxing island vacation. Ko Yao Noi is calm and welcoming; everyone is friendly and laid back. Koyao Island Resort has excellent service, perfectly kept beachfront, wonderful bungalows with all natural wood and palm leaf thatched roofs. There is nowhere better to relax. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Free use of bicycles and kayaks made life easy. Kayaking to the nearest island with small lagoon and beach is about one hour one way. Swimming from the resort beach was great, especially around high tide. The spa is very relaxing. We have stayed 5 times here as a family over the last 18 years. It is still the best place to relax, so long as you don't let the minor idiosyncrasies detract from the perfect location and timeless style.

I don’t bring a family of four to Indochina every summer, so when planning a trip across a couple of countries, and different kind of experiences, I felt we couldn't miss a week in a dream resort on a Thai island, in the Indian Ocean. It took me a while to pick up one but, honestly, choosing this place turned out to be one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. Maybe I’ll start with the family villa we stayed in: just wow. Spacious, luxurious, both modern and traditional at once. It made us feel truly special, completely immersed in a lush, tropical environment. Then the infinity pool — merging seamlessly with the sea, with the stunning view of the Hong Archipelago stretching across the horizon. The food deserves a highlight, too. We spent a few weeks across Indochina, and this was, hands down, where we ate best. Every dish — Thai or Western — was excellent, and the restaurant itself a lovely setting. And the service: having traveled in many types of accommodations, I can say I’ve rarely been treated with such kindness, care, and quiet professionalism. A word about the island, too. I didn’t want something too remote, so I chose a place still part of the Phuket area — meaning accessible and with plenty to do — but far from being overcrowded or overly touristy. Maybe the rainy season helped with that a bit: we traded the occasional short shower for a much more peaceful atmosphere and... no regrets at all with that! One of many highlights was the excursion organized by the resort: picked up directly on the beach by their long-tail boat, we explored a bit of the nearby archipelago national parks — including Ko Chicken and other islands — for a pitch-perfect tropical sea adventure. And exploring the Ko Yao Noi island itself with the Resort's scooters was just as rewarding, from quiet villages to beautiful, hidden beaches we had almost to ourselves. An amazing experience — and one I’d wholeheartedly recommend.

The major positive thing to appreciate is the location of the resort. The view is amazing and probably the best suited location for a Thailand vacation. The villa that we actually booked was changed 2 days before our visit saying there was a repair necessitated due to strong winds however when we arrive at the resort we could see that all the villas of the same category were under a planned renovation. So, transparency is lacking. Service is not upto the mark, there's no room service and food waste/ trash was kept for a whole night and day before we called the house-keeping to clear. Two people we want to appreciate for their service 1. Kelvin for arranging a Long tail boat on request in a quick time & 2. Leon for arranging the scooters with side cars from outside (as the resorts scooters were rented already) upon request in a short time. We couldn't appreciate the surprises as the pre-booked and confirmed services were also rescheduled with a simple 'sorry, there's a problem'.

A complete escape into paradise! The view over Phang Nga Bay is absolutely breathtaking , with a long private beach and lush green gardens all around. The villas are incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, making you feel like you've stepped into another world. It’s the perfect place to de-stress and truly reconnect. And the food? Simply amazing. Every meal was a highlight. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a true reset.
