The Heron Inn and Day Spa

The breakfast was not memorable as I think a B&B breakfast should be. Just very plain fare of scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes. And it had apparently been prepared ahead of time, as we came in toward the end of the breakfast period. Other patrons complained that the coffee that was in the self-serve pot was cold.

Quiet & quaint. Close to everything. Very walkable.

Bed was hard & uncomfortable.

This place was perfect for my wedding anniversary weekend with my husband. The room was clean, had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was so nice to soak in and relax. The town is close enough to walk to, lots of shops and restaurants. Downstairs the inn was very welcoming, the dining area and sitting area was nice. Very quiet area, the bed was great, the fireplace made the room cozy, and I loved the robes. We can't wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The inn was calm and the breakfast was delicious. Nice location in a quaint town.

An older quaint and elegant small hotel with lovely clean rooms. Spa experience was fantastic and the staff was very welcoming and professional! The hotel is walking distance to town and dining. Breakfast was standard but good with exceptional service. Part of the charm is the fact the rooms are old… but they are very clean and comfortable. The parking is tight, especially with larger vehicles. We will plan to go there again!

Lovely setting in boutique hotel I like the location for a day trip to Friday Harbor, we spent two nights here. Clean and quaint, definite boutique feel. Plums available at check-in was a nice touch.The gorgeous antique Furniture in the room and hotel was a nice touch. Warm breakfast with gluten free option a bonus! 24/7 tea/coffee/cereal availability I love the classical music in the entry running constantly! Highly valued experience.

A/C didnt keep up with demand. I had it on the lowest setting (64°) for two nights, it didn’t keep up. The fan helped! Liquid soap containers should be switched out to ceramic (vs plastic). The shower curtain rod should be a wider option. The Guests above us in the room woke us up by being so loud (floors creaked and walls old/thin).
