Best kept secret in Santa Barbara! will definitely come back. The private patio and jacuzzi are a great plus!

So let’s talk about hospitality: we travel extensively by car and prefer to stay in small individually owned properties as often as possible. We were in Santa Barbara for a family event and stayed with Dominique at her charming inn. Dominique and her staff (Cassidy) go above and beyond to make their guests’ stays as comfortable as possible. Always charming and accessible, the Secret Garden Inn and Cottages was one of the best places we’ve stayed. It is abundantly clear that hospitality is at the top of their list! Breakfast is amazing and the location is perfect. Dominique’s lunch recommendation was spot on and we could walk to Derf’s Cafe. We will definitely be back to stay at the Secret Garden when next we visit Santa Barbara!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dominique's lovely inn. We had the Garden room and our small dog, Ginger, loved playing in the room's private garden. We had breakfast each morning in the garden. The breakfast was brought each morning at our specified time. Breakfast consisted of tea (our preference), orange juice, magnificent croissants , fruit, and a different daily hot egg dish. It literally filled us until dinner time! We, and Ginger, can't wait to return.

Wonderful experience with a beautiful room and bathtub. The robes and our own private jacuzzi made us feel super secluded and fancy. They brought us breakfast and coffee and fresh juice and fruits and it was lovely and delicious. Beautiful grounds and very quiet. Perfect romantic getaway experience.

What a wonderful magical stay. Dominique was an incredible, lovely host. The bed and breakfast cottages each had something unique to offer. The sounds of birds chirping and beautiful breakfasts (Esp quiche!) were wonderful. Cant wait to return soon!

Quiet and secluded in lovely garden environment . Dominique, the owner, was very kind and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast served by Dominique : croissants, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit.

Unfortunately got woken up by the bin men one morning. WiFi was a bit hit and miss in our cottage because we were furthest from the main house

We really loved our stay at the Secret Garden inn and cottages. It was so peaceful, quiet, and private. We definitely will be staying here again.

Facility was incredible, breakfasts were out of this world. Dominique was an unforgettable hostess. We spent special evenings in the garden.

Dominique is very welcoming and helpful. We had everything needed in our room, including electric kettle, and jacuzzi was clean and relaxing after the day of walking. The location is very quiet, and it is truly a cozy secret garden. Breakfast was delicious with homemade baked pears, veggie quiche, and a French touch. We will return to this place when we visit again.

The shower head needs to be fixed in Kingsfisher room.
