B&B Hotel Trapani Crystal

Landade i Trapani sent och det var inga problem att checka in 01.00 på natten. Hotellet var väldigt fint och städat. Ligger lite längre bort från centrum, men nära till stranden. Sov i två nätter och frukosten var väldigt god. Servicen var bra, de rekommenderade bra restauranger och var hjälpsamma. Dock några dåliga på engelska.

It was super. Room, location, staff, manager, breakfast room and food and service perfect.

This is a really nice hotel decorated in calm colours and pale carpeting throughout giving the hotel an atmosphere of cool sophistication. Staff were very obliging the only tiny criticism is some of the staff found it difficult to communicate in English and did not know what poached eggs were. Breakfast was good but I don't like hot drinks from drinks machines and when asked waiter for pot of tea he brought in pot of warm water which made an awful cup of tea once you put your teabag in!

The hotel is right by the railway station and well placed for the centre of town. The station is not very busy and so there is no noise from it. We had a room on the top floor and had a distant sea view. The room was modern. There were only five coathangers in the wardrobe and we had no drawers for storage. The hotel is better suited for short business stays than a long vacation. There is no outdoor space to enjoy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a good stay and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was close enough to walk to the sights, as well as to drive to the funicular to Erice. Beds were comfortable; breakfast was nothing fancy, but varied choices. The staff was very helpful! They have very few spaces in their reserved parking, however there was free parking right on the street in front of the hotel.

Compared to other hotel experiences this one was over rated for the price. No fitness facility; small room, small beds. All else was o.k. We just spent one night and it was good for the one night before leaving town. We have another night to spend before flying to Amsterdam and we will not stay at the FH.

First time to Sicily and hotel staff were very friendly, showing us the best places to eat and things to do. Reception staff very helpful and will go out of their way to help you - for example we booked a mini-cruise last minute on-line and staff were happy to print off our confirmation email saving us hassle the next morning. Would stay again, excellent breakfast.

Clean, nice and convenient

Location is very good to go every where, parking is not too bad to find and stay on street parking. Room is very clean and high end style which I like. Overall we enjoyed to stay.

The hotel is hard to find for a tourist because the address given is a nearby piazza rather than a street address, and it's not in the piazza. The map that prints out with the reservation doesn't really help because it's not clear what the cross-streets are, and the icing on the cake is that if you drive or walk by from the other side of the building (which goes through the whole block), you miss it completely because the name of the hotel is only on one side and the other side has only the name of some design firm. Parking can be tricky because the hotel "garage" (which costs extra) is tiny (maybe 5 cars) and there may not be a nearby space on the street. The hotel is well run but the rooms are small, and no charm and no frills--you have to take your own bags to the room, and the first room we were shown was so permeated with cigarette odor that it was uninhabitable. Wi-fi in the room is so spotty it's non-existent. Clientele seems more business than pleasure, and lots of 20-ish guys hanging around near the computer in the lobby. A single woman might be uncomfortable. The good news is that the staff is courteous and professional, got us an OK room, recommended a couple of great restaurants, and ordered us pizza the night we didn't want to go out.
