The Fleece at Cirencester

I love our stays at The Fleece! The staff are always friendly, the manager even moved her car so we could leave our dog in our car and be closer. He is unwell and anxious, it totally took the stress out of our trip. The food is amazing and the atmosphere in the bar makes us not want to leave. I love the fact that you walk out of the door and straight into the town centre. The location is perfect. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back soon

Really lovely staff. Bed comfy. Good shower. Great breakfast.

Rooms quite hot but better than being cold! Our room at the front was a little noisy from street noise in the morning due to market set up. The building is very old so we expected some compromises.

“Absolutely outstanding Sunday roast and one of the best we’ve had. The roast beef was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavour. It came with crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire puddings, perfectly cooked vegetables, and a rich, delicious gravy that brought everything together beautifully. The steak and ale pie was equally impressive, packed with tender chunks of beef in a rich, hearty filling and topped with perfectly crisp pastry. Everything tasted homemade and prepared with real care. A special mention to Peter, who looked after us so well. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Generous portions, excellent quality, and fantastic service made for a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a proper traditional Sunday meal.
