Econo Lodge Valdosta Mall Area

First of all when I got there instead of $71 it was going to cost me through y'all they charged me $80 and gave me a room that was nasty the floor in the bathroom my shoes were sticking to I would not walk around without shoes on there was crud on the bed skirt that was not on the walls it's not in the bathroom on the walls there was no plug for the bathtub there was no Trey for the coffee to put the pods in I had to get another coffee pot and there was no smoke alarm and I mentioned all this to the manager on duty plus the manager and they said that they take the smoke detectors away and smoking rooms which does not make sense but I have stayed another smoking rooms and other motels and sometimes you can't even tell that it's a smoking room overall it was a nasty nasty place and on top of that I had to pay $100 deposit that I wouldn't trash the room and when I left it looked better than it did when I got in let's just say I washed the filters in the air conditioners I washed the mirrors I washed the window another words I slept fully clothed cuz I wasn't sure they even changed the sheets when I left I made sure that I got my $100 deposit back and no one went in the room to check to see if I had damaged anything before I checked out it's a rip-off place I wouldn't allow my dogs to stay in there

The property was run down the room was in terrible shape the phone in the room did not even have buttons on it, the breakfast bar the eggs and sausage were in crockpots in water it was terrible for the price I paid I would not stay there ever again.

All I need is a bed

This place had a friendly check in person but this property felt unsafe. It was impossible to find. People were drinking alcohol and smoking right in front of doors. Elevator sounded like it was going to break. Carpet was completely filthy. It wasn’t even vacuumed in hallway and area by elevator. Black mold on air conditioner. Sinks didn’t drain well. Stove in room looked like it never had been cleaned. No dishes in the room so why pay for the kitchen area. Only 2 1/2 sized pillows per bed. Not enough towels in room even with reservation. Very musty smelling. Overall room was just not clean. Sheets were ripped. Breakfast was very sparse. It’s like they put out so much food and never refilled it even though breakfast went to 9am. Eggs were poached and disgusting. There was no juice. No salt or pepper. No milk alternative. Only sweet n low and sugar. No donuts, pastries, or bagels. No yogurt. Tables dirty. Counters around food were dirty. This ranks up there with worst motel I stayed in. DONT STAY HERE. Pay more money and go somewhere else.

Perfectly adequate place to stay. What you should expect for the price. Older property that could use some love. Secure, inside facing rooms. AC, shower, bathroom fine. Only complaint are the laminate floors (way better than carpet!) needed mopping. I washed my feet prior to getting into bed and again prior to putting on my shoes. Had to get on the road, so I didn’t have breakfast.

Terrible experience. The entire parking lot was full with no place to park yet. They refused to give a refund so I can go elsewhere. A group of people were having a parking lot party right near the main entrance sitting on coolers, drinking beer and blaring loud music. Parking area was poorly lit and unsafe. TV does not work. Hotel is dirty. Pillows and bedding are horrible. Can’t wait to leave.

I will never stay at one again… toilet almost on floor… room smelled of smoke as well as the hallway. Everything needs updates or torn done. Surprised they are in business!!

This hotel is extremely dated and too expensive for what it offers. It’s about a 60 dollar hotel at best. Service was great and welcomed with a smile!

If you don’t have to don’t stay here. The room was dirty, furniture worn out, screen on window torn, sticky table that had not been cleaned. I could not get out of here fast enough. Not sure why but rooms in Valdosta were all rented so we did not have much of a choice unless we wanted to pay over $200 a night for a basic hotel.
