Parking was difficult

Close to Main St . The bar. The fireplaces and view from lobby.

Room 238 literally said lake view and it was all snow no view! No divider for privacy for beds in room. No pool access was never told!!! No restaurant or anything to eat in hotel had to order out and have delivered to bar!! Not to mention the ceiling was falling apart on our floor and buckets in hallway!!! No photos taken not worth the effort.

Location

Broken sofa bed, no pool( said it was not in service in 6 months) but still listed in their ads. Safety chain on door missing. Had to pay for parking across the street.

The hotel itself, the views, the room was nice and stylish

So let me start the location is fabulous, the lobby / common areas are nice, spacious. Parking is a huge challenge, if you find a spot don’t plan on moving, the parking lot, driveway were beyond icy, we actually slid out into the road. There did not seem to be any attempt to ma age the ice / snow. The staff left a lot to be desired, some desk personnel bordering on hostile . I called and asked for towels in the morning, was told they would send up, after about 30 min I figured I’d walk down to get some. I was then told no housekeeping staff was in then building, when the did arrive , then they would send towel. Why not just say that in the first place ? And I have to again say the desk staff was very unpleasant. The evening desk staff more pleasant . The rooms are spacious but no place to put any thing , zero counter space in bathroom, the bathroom sink is in the living area , and also has zero counter area, the bunk room has no place to put anything and no heat or ac, it comes from the other rooms so door must be open, no privacy. The bunk bed was very rickety and noisy if you even turn over . The heat is a heat/ ac window unit, very loud and went in and off on and off constantly all night . The room overall was sparse, poorly thought out , furniture very ikea, poorly assembled. Overall location is great, rooms are spacious but poorly appointed. Desk staff on days needs to not deal with public. Oh and the rooms next to us had raccoons in feeling , we could see them climb in from the window, last night we could hear claw sounds on our feeling as well. This place could be sensational, but management needs to take a look at the product they currently have and improve.

Location is excellent

The bed could be more comfortable. The breakfast selection was too limited.
