Hoodia Desert Lodge

A lovely two night stay, which included a sunset drive and a full day out in the desert which was made very interesting, fun and pleasant by Enos, who was extremely knowledgeable about the environment. On both occasions, we had tables set with white cloths, chairs, good cutlery and crockery and we sat on comfortable chairs, all of which were set out on kilims. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The only thing that would prevent us from returning was the road from Swakopmund to the Lodge, which is no fault of the lodge. If you can, fly in!

Nothing - it was really great

Beautiful lodge with good food and comfortable room.

Our guide for the all-day excursion had a really bad attitude. He didn't give clear guidance to the guests which led to a lot of confusion and us all waiting for him at the car for nearly an hour.

Wonderful welcome, beautiful surroundings, excellent food

Very nice and quiet lodge in the middle of the desert, yet not that far away from the main road and Sossusvlei/Deadvlei that it was a pain to get there. The lodge has a lovely staff that took care of us in an excellent way. Also the day tour they provide is very much worth it. They provide spacious, clean lodges with warm showers. Also the food was great.

There was nothing not to like

Gorgeous accommodation and super lovely staff making you feel welcome and settling you in. Would definitely stay again when next in the region.
