Good Points • Most staff were friendly and polite. • Cleaners and restaurant staff were excellent and a real credit to the hotel. • Hotel grounds and rooms were kept very clean. • Breakfast had plenty of choice and was enjoyable. • Daytime entertainment was good, especially the foam party. • Evening entertainment was excellent and the entertainment team were very talented. • Children’s facilities were brilliant and kept the kids occupied throughout the stay. • Pool bar touchscreens were easy to use and worked well. Bad Points • Reception staff were pleasant but not helpful when dealing with complaints. • The sun lounger situation was very poorly managed. Guests reserved loungers early in the morning and left them unused for hours, making it difficult for others to find seats. This was the biggest issue of our stay and a major reason we would not return or recommend the hotel. • Lunch quality dropped significantly compared to breakfast. It was acceptable for the children, but limited for adults. • Dinner options were disappointing and food was often only lukewarm. Despite paying for all inclusive, we ate out often • Some all-inclusive benefits were removed before our fully paid 12pm checkout. As we had an evening flight, being unable to use certain facilities on our final morning felt unfair and poor value for money.

We stayed here for 10 days as a family of 4 and we all had an amazing time. The food was fresh everyday, the entertainment was brilliant and our room was spotless each night. The wide range of drinks included in the all inclusive was great. There is plenty to keep the kids occupied. My son loved the park and soft play area. The staff is all really friendly and we will definitely visit again. Big shout out to Alexander and Brian for the amazing cocktails!!

Fab entertainment, second year coming. Daughter always enjoys her time around the pool and the evening entertainment! Fab hotel ♥️ Best team are Rachel, Pablo and Dogman 🫶

Excellent hotel love it thanks

Have been 4 times to Bitacora. Will return again next year! Always have the best time! Santiago is our favourite bar tender, Love dog man and will! Rachel is the best host! Brian, Lucy and pablo are also great fun and great at the mini disco. Rock night and mini disco are our favourite! Also have such great fun with the little ones at mini club! Always making something crafty! Very clean. Rooms are cleaned daily! And a good size. Prime location! Shops opposite.

Just arrived home from a 7 night stay here with 2 young children (4 & 1). The good points - - Hotel is really clean and smells lovely, always cleaners cleaning the hotel constantly all day. - The all inclusive food is nice, no complaints whatsoever on the food. The snack bar outside is great especially for kids and a quick something to eat - The all inclusive drinks was brilliant too, all branded drinks included such as grey goose vodka etc! The bar staff wasn’t stingey on the drinks either and was allowed to order multiple drinks at once! - The location of the hotel is ideal and in the middle of everything. Only an 10 minute taxi ride to the water & animal parks! - cleaners was lovely and cleaned our beds everyday. We had a pool view room and definitely worth paying the extra for! The bad points - - The entertainment on the night for the kids wasn’t very good they only have a mini disco on at 8pm for about 20/25 and that’s it, the entertainment after that isn’t good for children as they is women half naked dancing about Wasn’t impressed… - The swimming pools are freezing especially the baby pool and slide pool, my children love water and didn’t go in the pools hardly because of this! The pool at the back near the adults only section was slightly warmer than the others! - The sunbeds wars are as bad as you see on tiktok, people cueing from 6:45am to get let in for 8am. People running and slipping near the pools to get beds is ridiculous. Security guards on because of this. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the bitacora hotel and would definitely return in the future!

Great for families. Entertainment was very good. Daytime pool party and water running mat were fabulous. Rooms big and kept very clean. Breakfast was good. However the evening meal choices were not great. Found some nights really difficult and eat out a few nights. Sunbed reservation was another issue. People queuing at 7.0am for the gates to open at 8.00am. In fact there was a report on the Sun website as the hotel employed security guards. After 8.15 you could not get a bed.
