Super 8 by Wyndham Redfield

From Sejal I was in Redfield to visit wedding with my family last weekend. We decided to stay at the Super 8 hotel. This place is real bang for the buck.The hotel was very easy to find and also feels very safe around . The staff was very professional , the rooms were very clean and decent sized, the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to someone visiting Redfield or any nearby city. We will be back Super 8!

Mouse poop in both beds and bathroom! I was creeped out all night. Sadly there weren’t much better options as everything in Watertown was booked so we drove on to Redfield to this Super 8. Plan ahead!

Worst hotel on earth. It’s completely filthy & it looks like the 1970’s inside the rooms. 3 try’s b4 we found a clean room & trust me it wasn’t clean either. The sink & toilet didn’t work. Told the front desk & came back 7hrs later & still wasn’t fixed. Only hotel in town so we were stuck there. I should’ve slept in the car!

Carpets were filthy and stained.

People friendly, just not updated

Hotel has gone downhill, stayed here previously, certainly not quite as nice as it used to be. Was told by family in the area that hotel has new owners. I asked for a queen bed-got a double. Air diligent work the greatest. No frig in the room. Staff was helpful and very nice though, very disappointed in the continental breakfast, certainly could have had more choices.

Our July 4th overnight at the Super 8 in Redfield, SD was disappointing to say the least! The management was really nice, but compliments have to end there. In our 16 day, 4200 mile trip, this property was the worst! I had to ask for toilet bowl cleaner (ring around the toilet bowl that would not come out) and wall cleaner (the bathroom walls/tissue holders/toilet paper holders were dirty). The sink and tub were clean. They did ask "the room was not cleaned to your liking?" and if I wanted them to send someone to clean it. I had to ask for replacement face cloths and bath towels because the ones in the room were stained brownish/grey. The bed linens were worn but clean and there was no evidence of bedbugs or other critters. The couple we travelled with had similar issues with the addition of a mildew smell in their room. The lobby stank of strong dinner spices that carried up the stairs into our room. Imagine our surprise to find this was a Wyndham property -- our very pleasant hostess and her staff need to do major renovations and cleaning to this property. Don't let the pictures fool you, they are sadly misleading. There are two vending machines outside of the front door, the parking lot is large but in need of paving, there is a hose running all the way from the front door around the side of the building that empties (hopefully not the other way around) into a vat in a little fenced in area to the side of the building. Our room window faced some backyards that were in need of cleaning up, and the noise from the area came in as if there were no window. I am sad to submit this, because the manager and her family were very nice and this property could have promise since there is not anything else around.

Good location. Room smelt like a dirty dog, not very clean facility, parking lot had garbage all over it, not worth the cost to stay there.

Our check in was very disappointing....it was a late check in (we arrived at 10:30 pm) and when we got there, there was nobody at the front desk. Nobody working at all, they had a buzzer to press for the late check in but when pushed nobody came. After several times of pressing the button we then decided to phone. The front desk had pens with the number for the hotel. We phoned but it rang several times then went to messages. We called about 4 times and continued to press the buzzer when finally we had a woman come from a back room all sleepy eyed and did not have any conversation with us while giving us our key. We would have definitely not stayed if we knew what we were in for

Very nice staff. Room was nice enough. Not very clean and had plenty of unwanted company after dark(BUGS!!) Cockroaches spiders etc...probably wont be back there any time soon.
