Super 8 by Wyndham Redfield

I don't really care for the area (as a whole, not the motel) but my stay was perfect, the proprietors and staff were all perfect. It is close to Subway and a Mexican restaurant and a gas station so i couldn't and didn't need to ask for anything!

Please don't stay here unless you are expecting pheasant man camp conditions. It's extremely run down and pasted over here and there to make it seem like it's been maintained when it hasn't. The rooms and hallways have there own unique cloying odor that is horrendously obnoxious and obviously trying to cover up the various other offensive smells going on of which a really bad mold infestation, and dirty wet dog odors were the worst of... along with the smell of dried blood and some other undistinguishable items. There was dog hair on nearly every surface but especially all the bedding and the bedding was so winkled it was obvious they had just picked it up off the floor and just remade the beds with it after it had been stomped on several times, the floors had visible chunks of mud and other outdoor debris. The carpets were extremely old, extremely dirty and very stained. The carpet "trim" is literally so old it's glue has worn off and it's literally falling off the walls in multiple places. To add insult to injury we paid $$$ three figures for one night here and they don't segregate any rooms aside that "pets" can't go into (read hunting dogs) the towels and washclothes are even stained with what one can only assume it's pheasant guts judging by all the signs posted about asking u to use their "free rags" for that purpose instead. I hope my family didn't catch fleas here or worse. We only stayed so I wouldn't fall asleep while driving. we covered our pillows with our coats

Great place to stay

The bathrooms were dirty and the beds didn’t look the size of a queen. Only good thing was it was quiet. There was never anyone at the front desk. The breakfast area was filthy when we came down. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until some changes were made.

You can tell how much management and staff care about the quality of guests stays. We were so comfortable and felt well looked after. The location to was easy to get to. When visiting friends in the area in the future, there is no other option for us.

This place was filthy!! There was mold in the bathroom and in the refrigerator, it didn't keep things cold. I would never recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed in this place to anyone for any reason!!

Room doors wouldn't lock, the food options were bare minimum, rooms had beds falling off foundations, plug ins attached to light switches so fridge shut off and food ruined. The tub had stains, shower head had no option to run tub water to check temperature first. Vent in the ceiling in the bathroom was unplugged and hanging down.

I stay here every year during hunting season. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If I need anything they are always willing to accommodate within reason. They rooms are average size but well hygiene. Basic breakfast is available too.
