Please inform April Point Resort in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A damage deposit of CAD 250 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges. Please note, only some of the rooms are pet-friendly. Pet friendly rooms cannot be booked on this site. You must contact April Point Resort directly to book a pet friendly room.

"Going Downhill"

As noted by others this is a great location in the ocean. We have stayed here for years and have always enjoyed ourselves. However with the new owners things have gone straight downhill. No restaurant, no spa, no fishing charters and they make you sign a form that you won’t cook in the room. So you either have to bring in precooked food or go out and drive the treacherous road. This resort now feels like a ghost town, not sure if we will ever be back. The large new survey post in the front appears to indicate an upcoming subdivision is imminent .

"Peaceful break from the city"

The balcony outside the room, on the water was lovely for setting up for dinner. The rooms are nice and spacious.

The place in general could do with a lot of love.. it has so much potential! The rooms are rather outdated, and the bed was very squeaky. Be sure to get takeaways before checking in, as there are no food options there.

Even though you are surrounded by water, there is nowhere you can swim. Beautiful view and clean room but not much to do for families that love to swim

"Fabulous spot!"

We were booked in a "deluxe queen suite" which turned out to be a very spacious room as part of the waterview cottage complex. For CA$200 per night including taxes (in peak season), this was a steal! Ocean view, big deck, quiet setting, access to outdoor adirondack seats and BBQ. If this were in Tofino it would be triple the price! And with the new ferry connection to Campbell River (now departing every 30 minutes) no more stress about ferry line-ups, even mid-summer. I'm surprised that the average rating on this site is only 7.6, it definitely deserves higher.

The whole resort has a kind of "faded glory" feel to it - you get the sense that it used to be a popular hub (helipad, and marina), but it seemed largely empty when we were there. Even the restaurant was closed. But TBH, this was actually a plus in the end because the place was very quiet and peaceful. If you don't mind slightly dated decor, this place is a gem.
