Well converted old building in a central location. Very friendly and professional staff and excellent breakfasts.

The first room allocated (415) had a steeply sloping ceiling so it was difficult to move around in it but on the second day they moved us to a much better room.

This is the perfect location for exploring Reykjavik and the surrounding area. From The Radisson you can easily walk to the port for whale watching excursions or to the main shopping streets for wool, fashions and souvenir shopping excursions. There are restaurant and nightlife options within an easy walk in every direction. The Radisson Blu staff are welcoming and handle every aspect of the visit efficiently and friendly including before the trip confirming arrangements, upon arrival and at departure time. The breakfast option is also wonderful in a sunny and bright corner location with a variety of options. And they do a good job responding to guests with gluten free dining needs.
