We absolutely loved our stay at the Marigny inn! Was able to enjoy a bottle of wine in the garden outside our room before heading out to check out some jazz at the Spotted Cat (which was just down the road). The Zydeco room had so much character. It’s a beautiful property!

Funky New Orleans style and vibe. Lovely neighborhood away from the hubbub but close enough to walk to Frenchman street and the Quarter. Hot tub a plus after all that walking! Grocery store across the street.

I’m a repeat guest, so I like the place.

We really enjoyed our stay! Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room and outdoor garden areas were decorated in a funky New Orleans style, and the hosts were easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. Their guest guide was invaluable during our stay, it gave us tons of ideas on where to eat and what to check out. Quick hop to Frenchman Street (and the Spotted Cat for live music!!) and the French quarter was a quick stroll. We would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived, the house was still being cleaned but we were let in to leave our bags which was nice. However when we went inside we were surprised at how old and second hand everything looked. It was crowded with old worn furniture and knick knacks. Neighborhood was shoddy. We decided to forfeit our $400 2 night stay and find another place in a better location and better condition. I'm not one to walk away and waste $400, but that is what we did. Pictures on Booking did not really do this place justice,

PLEASE DON'T A ROOM!! ... so my chances to get one get higher :D The location is simply perfect! Spotted cat 4 walk minutes. Next Street car stop minute. Supermarket opposite of the street. The....hot....tub! You can't get more New Orleans. The Marigny Inn as it is, is NOLA.

Don't expect a full service hotel. It's an Inn. Yet you can get it touch with the owners fast via WhatsApp and they are more then willing to help you with anything you need!

The Inn is in walking distance to Frenchman Street and the French Quarter. Great breakfast can be found at Ayu's Bakehouse and Loretta's Cafe round the corner offers great Beignets. The Magnolia room was tidy, lots of towels plus a microwave, plates etc and a fridge. We loved the garden with comfy places to sit and the bathroom with its high ceiling.

The only negative were the trains nearby that were honking very loudly and for minutes during the night.
