The location is great for walking to the French Quarter, and it is close to downtown. Great for young people.

The decorations of the hotel weren't what I was expecting. It's vintage, and the bed needs to be replaced. It could use a little bit more decoration. The coffee area needs to be updated.

The historic look to the room, very clean and the atmosphere was awesome. Would definitely stay at again in the future. It felt like a home that you wouldn’t want to leave.

With it being on a busy street sometimes it got a little loud outside, but it’s New Orleans…we didn’t come here to sleep.

I've stayed at this wonderful spot on a previous trip, and have really enjoyed my stay both times,...great location near (but outside the craziness of) the French Quarter. Close walk to Frenchman street for food and live jazz (make sure to check out The Spotted Cat for jazz!) Garden was in full bloom and perfect spot to cool off in the evening, room was clean, bed was comfy, and owners were very warm and accommodating, all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back!

The location is ideal off of Frenchman Street. A little extra walk to the French Quarter but not an issue.

We arrived about 50 minutes early and asked management/owners if we could check in early. There is no lobby or location to access other than the room itself. The management/owners replied they would let us know but never did. When we checked in, the room was well over 80 degrees. There were two rooms - the main room with 10-12 foot ceilings and a smaller room where the air conditioning was located. They had a standing fan and a ceiling fan but after two hours, the room was not getting cooler. I contacted the management/owner again and a man arrived. I have no idea who he was because he never introduced himself but when he came into the room his first comment was "You understand this is cooler than outside?" To which I responded that I expect a lot more from a hotel/bnb room than to be cooler than the heat and humidity outside in New Orleans in July. He replied "I don't think this air conditioner is going to meet your expectations." He did leave and retrieve a second floor fan and we decided to see if it would cool down once the sun went down. It did in fact cool down significantly suggesting they did not turn the a/c on prior to our check in time or certainly not long enough before our arrival to make any difference. It was not, however, ever cold or crisply cool as hotel rooms usually are. I did not contact management/owners after the first day nor did they ever contact me once he left on the first day.

Great location just off Frenchman st and free street parking.

The Blue60 is a FABULOUS place to stay while in New Orleans! I had the Magnolia room; a large bedroom with charming funky decor, a very comfortable bed, and a great shower. There's even a clawfoot tub with romantic lighting if one would rather take a bath. It's set within an amazing garden; a water fountain pond with goldfish and koi, gorgeous lush garden plants with swing and hammock chairs. A large ceiling fan and the air conditioner provided pure relief after a sweaty activity. The neighborhood is perfect; just steps from Frenchmen Street and the Quarter, a bar or a bakery or quaint shop on every corner, an ATM down the block, a really good grocery store across the street (with an excellent deli for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a coffee bar) and the ubiquitous Starbucks. (I highly recommend Baldwin's Books for your coffee.) I used Lyft for longer forays into the city; very cheap. The cute St. Roch neighborhood is in walking distance with some awesome restaurants along the way (try Arabella's for the pasta; outstanding). MaryAnne and Chris are excellent communicators. I appreciated their help with a small issue. Most rooms are inside a locked courtyard, and they make it easy to remember your door code. In short: you will NOT go wrong in selecting Blue60 for your visit to New Orleans.
