The “non smkoking” room was like an enormous ashtray, the 2nd room we tried the toilet didn’t flush and sink didn’t drain .... hmm, 3rd room was the “charm”!!! Why does Clarion allow them to operate under their name? I guess the inexpensive rate is what you can expect here in Santee? Do not stay here ... we were only 1 of maybe 5 -6 people?
On our way back to Florida on I-95 and needed a place to stay. Informed the desk clerk that we needed an accessible room. The first room we were given wasn’t cleaned yet. The next room was clean but there was nothing handicapped accessible about it! Just rolled with the punches, home the next day! As they say, “It ain’t a gem, but it’s cheap!”
Comfortable bed and chairs. Liked the in room coffee maker and packaged muffins in lobby at checkout.
No frills I-95 roadside rest stop. Condition of hotel commensurate with discounted rate. Served the purpose, for a good night's sleep.

Since clean place. Peasant staff. I'd stay there again without hesitation. It's a classic style Motel and in good condition. It's been well maintained.

Our room didn’t have a working tv the maintenance guy was supposed to bring in a new one never did, the room has so many roaches and we had no running hot water!
