Days Inn by Wyndham Dumas Arkansas

Well I had booked my room online and paid for it online. When I do arrive at Dumas inn I give the guy my Id and conformation number only for him to tell me I can’t pay online I had to pay the motel. That’s the purpose booking it online. So I had to pay again at the Dumas inn. I’m in need of a refund so the money it took off my card I would love for it to be replace back on it.

Definitely a motel for contractors coming in town for work and who wanna save money on lodging I would never stay here unless under those conditions. Place is pretty gross on the outside and in the office especially, but the rooms are clean enough to stand for a night or two.

The price is including breakfast and there was NO breakfast

One of two possible hotels in Dumas, the other one cost half again as much so we took a chance. Clean bed, good basic accommodations for the money. Sheps, A really good home cooking restaurant is adjacent to the parking lot and made the whole thing work even better. Earlier negative reviews were probably overblown.

My husband & I and 2 grandchildren stayed here for 3 days- from Texas for a Family Reunion. The first night room was not as clean- but spotless afterwards. The maids had no problem re cleaning and changing out the linen as we watched. The beds were very comfortable and we slept really good in them. Employees were very kind & helpful especially front desk clerk whom was standing in for the owner. We needed an iron and blow dryer and the desk clerk brought it himself. Needed extra towels had no problem getting them. I will say that the mosquitoes were bad in there but the mosquitoes were bad everywhere in Dumas. The pool was not cleaned nor opened for service which was too bad since it was very hot outside. There was a basic continental breakfast but even for the price of the hotel- I wouldn't have expected one. The location is great -right in the midst of all type restaurants, businesses and Walmart 20 miles away. The restaurant Sheps located right next door has a very delicious all you can eat buffet. If ever in town again we will definitely stay here. We travel a lot and stay in many ratings of Hotels & Inns. Our stay at Dumas Inn received more than expected for the cost. Very Satisfied Customers.

This place according to reviews has not got enough credit for this backwood place! If your looking for cell service this town isn't the place. If your looking for a decent, clean, affordable hotel, this is the place. I seen the reviews on the days in and the Dumas inn and took a leap of faith. I went for the Dumas inn. I stayed in a king, the bed was extremely comfortable as I slept like a dead person. Not near as bad as the reviews. Remember, this is a small town with only 2 hotels. Go figure! Dumas inn over days inn Dumas any day of the week! I would add that the people who own and run the place are very nice people.

Stayed at this location completely eaten up by mosquitoes and BED BUGS, informed the lady owner who was extremely rude and ignorant, and said they didn't have bed bugs I did, they must have been in my clothes and hung up the phone

We usually look for a inexpensive clean hotel and this was neither. I would reccomend going down the road a little bit further and paying a little bit more. There is mo value staying here. Our room was to be non smoking and it wasn't, so that makes me think all the other rooms are the same. Not clean. Cigirette burns in the blanket.

We checked in late as we had been driving all day and werent sure where we'd be in order to book ahead. They had rooms available on the first floor with a king non-smokimg room, as for weary travelers it seemed great. We got our stuff in, checked the shower etc and all seems to be in order and the king bed was super comfy based on the "sit test". We folded down the bed and the sheets looked dirty, like someones eye liner has been smudged on the sheets. We then turned on the A/C..and that was our fatal mistake! Aprox 60-100 LARGE mosquitos took over the room. We killed as many as we could see with hands,shoes and even our towels from the shower. Once the initial influx seemed to stop we dozed off..I awoke with 16 bites in the Am and that was after the most uncomfortable nights sleep (if I slept at all) trying to stay as far under the covers as possible without smothering to death. I will NEVER stop here again if I travel in this direction!
