Our host Carlos was very easy to contact and met us at the apartment when we arrived. We had travelled from the airport by Public Bus and it's just a 10 minute walk to the apartment. We received a friendly welcome and were shown into the apartment. Our apartment had a double room, lounge, kitchen area, bathroom and a sun terrace. It was light, spacious, nicely furnished and immaculately clean. There was plenty of storage and we found everything we needed in the well-equipped kitchen. The apartment is just a few minutes walk to the town which has a nice beach where you can sunbathe, swim or do watersports. There are shops (including a supermarket), restaurants and bars and it's busy throughout the day and into the evening. The town seems to attract locals and tourists and is very friendly and relaxed. Carlos recommended some places to go and we found other places too. Everywhere was welcoming and reasonably priced. It seems this town is a place to go for local families and tourists of all ages to go so it has a great vibe. There is a public bus stop, tourist information and travel agent so it would be easy to use this as a base to explore other parts of the island. We used the public bus to get to Siam Park which was a great day out! Based on our experience we would thoroughly recommend and definitely stay again if we come back to Tennerife. Thank you!

Everything was close: shops, beach, bus

I can not up the metal rollets, the music from the bar nearby was kinda loud at late evening.

Perfect, comfortable little apartment, easy walk to main square and beach and the landlord, Carlos, could not have been more helpful - even let us stay after check-out time on our last day. The town itself has a fantastic vibe, suits surfers, families and retirees. The local people are beyond friendly - with the exception of the taxi driver who took us there (but I suppose you couldn't call him local!) - all in all, a great experience.

taxis on arrival at the airport can be a problem, as there are too many flights coming in together. visitors would do well to book a taxi in advance.

Everything was great. Carlos was very helpful, we'd like to do it again.

The communication with the owner was very easy and effective, the location of the apartment is super, and it's easy to park the car around. The apartment is nice with a terrace with a wonderful view.

Maybe the bathroom need a little renovation (respect to the rest of the apartment). We had to make the bed on the coach by ourselves, maybe it would have been nice to find it ready.

The host was charming and very helpful. I had a problem with my previous booking and so this was very last minute. he arrived with the keys promptly..

The only issue was the buiding site across the road but this was no fault of the owner!
