Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa

Amazing as always, great resort for families. Will be back multiple times this summer. Staff is very friendly and grounds are super clean.

I love the proximity to the beach. The pool area was so relaxing.

Paying for parking is a bummer.

Room was upgraded for a low cost and the view was beautiful.

It was a far distance from our room to the water/ice and elevators.

We stayed for one night only, but since I’m a Globalist member, we were upgraded to an ocean-view room within the same room category I originally reserved. I also asked the front desk if it would be possible to upgrade to a larger room, but since it was Memorial Day weekend, the hotel was fully booked and already at capacity. At the same time, I inquired about a late checkout, but the front desk agent explained that it might not be possible for the same reason. The room itself was a typical king-bed room, but we absolutely loved the view overlooking the pool and the ocean. One of the highlights for us was the dedicated footbridge that made it very easy and convenient to spend time at the beach. We spent most of our day at the Slyder pool area, which is geared toward kids, and we had such a fun time there. Breakfast was amazing as well. We especially loved the made-to-order omelette station at the breakfast buffet, which we happily took advantage of. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be returning in the future.
