This is certainly not a five-star hotel experience. The room was exceptionally small, and the so-called city-view rooms overlook a busy main road, resulting in significant traffic noise. Sleeping with the window open is simply not an option. The pool staff would benefit from substantial additional training, as the level of service fell well below expectations. The dining experience at the pool restaurant was equally disappointing. The grilled fish arrived undercooked, with the flesh still visibly raw, and had to be returned to the kitchen. On another occasion, we approached the pool bar to purchase a bottle of water and were instructed to return to our sunbeds and place the order through a member of staff. After doing so, we waited nearly fifty minutes before the water finally arrived. Overall, the hotel operates more like a large-scale resort catering to volume rather than quality. Guests familiar with genuine five-star hospitality will likely find the experience closer to that of an average three-star property. Unfortunately, this hotel falls far short of the standards it claims to represent. I would not recommend it.

Impressive building. Very clean, one of the cleanest hotels: they constantly clean. Lovely outside area. Large pools. Staff at reception and the concierges were nice and helpful and also the cleaning lady was lovely.

This is NOT a 5 stars hotel. The room was tiny (28 square meters) - we were coming from the Westin where rooms are 50 sm. My mistake to pick a room with city view as I did not realise it was overlooking a busy road, meaning we could not keep the window open as there were cars all night. The city view rooms are tired and tiny, avoid. Maybe the rooms with seaview are better. Everyone seems to rave about breakfast: yes, there are mountains of food, low quality food. If you want to just eat, it's perfect: but don't expect quality. The staff at the pool needs some serious training or replacing. Example: I went to the bathroom by the pool restaurant on level 1, I came out and realised there was no soap to wash my hands. I asked a member of staff for it: I was told to walk in the men's bathroom (where there were open urinals) to get the soap if I really wanted it. I also saw a kitchen member of staff (female) who used the same bathroom and DID NOT WASH HER HANDS WITH SOAP, just with water, and went straight back into the kitchen. The food at the pool restaurant was awful: my husband ordered a grilled fish and had to send it back as it was not cooked properly (still with blood inside). We went to the bar to buy a bottle of water and were told to seat and wait by the pool and order it there from the member of staff (none came by and we went back to the bar to buy it and almost had to fight, as they want you to order by the pool so that they can charge you extra). Lastly, they don't care about the wellbeing of their guests: I was sick all night (probably a stomach virus) and asked for a late check out the following day: I was only told I could stay 1 extra hour - no offer for an alternative solution for me, for an area to rest; not even for a drink. Awful. They only care about money. This hotel is like a supermarket: if you know what 5 stars mean, you will agree this is a 3 stars, mass market experience. Avoid.
