Las Arenas Balneario Resort

Another enjoyable & relaxing week at this lovely hotel. We have been coming here for many years and it never disappoints. We had a room on the 4th floor. Great views. Large balcony. Housekeeping here is top rate. The large pool is fabulous with plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas with direct access to the sandy beach with a gently shelving paddle into the sea. The pool bar/restaurant serves a good menu at lunchtime. Cocktails served by lovely staff (thank you especially Lara & Chiara) in front of the fountains is always a great part of the day. The grounds are spotless. A €12-14 taxi ride takes you into the city but try the up & coming Cabanyal area which is on the doorstep. There are plenty of young & creative restaurants within an easy walk. Try Sastreria or No Bar ( Ricard Camarena). We will be back when we next need to recharge our batteries!

Dated room and very noisy from nearby bar till 6am. Definitely not child friendly and would not return. Fifteenth visit to Valencia and worst hotel experience. Hotel responded to my comments to say noise is with their lawyers and rooms are being refurbished, so may improve. Best part of hotel are the excellent pool areas and beach location (if that is what you want).

Property is beautiful and a great location if you want to stay close to the ocean!

The location can't be beat with Valencia's top beach literally out the back door of the property. It is also next door to beach front promenade full of restaurants, cafes, etc. The pool area was enormous and had excellent deck chairs for lounging in the sun. Food was excellent, although pricy.

The beds were not very comfortable unless you like really firm mattress. The food prices on property are high but that is not a surprise given the location.
