Americas Best Value Inn Alliance

The motel has been updated and it is really nice. We stay there usually once a year. The room was clean though I have worked in the hospitality business as an inspector and found 2 dirty used towels hanging on the bathroom door. The next day the room service personal did not give us enough towels for 4 guest and left dirty towels in the tub (I think she was in training) We had reservations for 4 days, my husband who has cancer became ill on the 3rd day so I had to check out early they said they could not refund my money because I booked on line. Made no sense if you own and operate the motel you make that decision.

Not very clean, roomed smelled of urine when we checked in, I imagine someone's pet. Room was not cleaned during the day, only towels which added to our disgust. We pay full price every day which should include cleaning, not just towels. When I mentioned this to the front desk, she said she would give a note to mgr. Beware!

Non smoking room smelled like an ashtray when you walked in. Bed sheets stained, not even sure they were clean. Heard traffic from street the entire night.

Pipes frozen no shower water or toilet water. Had to flush the toilet with sink water in my ice bucket. They said the frozen pipes were out of their control so no refund or discount.

The hotel is a good value and we will stay there again. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rollaway beds are available for $10 a night and we used one for our son. We arrived late on a cold night and it took awhile for the room to become warm enough. The refrigerator didn't seem cold enough and the control knob was broken but we didn't need it this trip. The breakfast was ok but we didn't expect much since the hotel was only $60 a night. Despite some negatives the hotel is a great value.
