Hampton Terrace Inn

The breakfast was excellent. The Inn was pleasant with tasteful furnishings. The location was perfect. Stan could not have been any more accommedating and easily accessible.

The breakfast(s) were wonderful. Tasty, varied choices, well-presented. There were choices for everyone’s tastes/need: cereal, yogurt, eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats (sausage, ham), fruits, breads and muffins. Also, there was coffee and tea and juice available.

We were in a two-room suite, and both the bedrooms were very small (and one was even smaller than the other). Only one of the bedrooms (the larger one) had a closet. The smaller room had the only chest of drawers. We only spent two nights, so we managed, but if we had been there for a longer stay, the very small rooms would have been a much larger issue.

We stay at the Hampton Terrace every year, and it has consistently exceeded our expectations. Comfortable attractive rooms with more amenities than one can imagine, fabulous fresh breakfasts, and Stan is a very accomodating host who is eager to please. It's also very conveniently located within walking distance to all the great stores and restaurants in town. We love to stay in the Carriage House, with its living room, refrigerator, microwave and other conveniences. Can't imagine a better place to stay in Lenox.

Met up with friends from NY for NYE. Wonderful Inn with comfy old decor rooms, comfy beds, private baths, common living room, and wonderful breakfast. Stan - owner, was personable and very accommodating. It was a great place to stay in a wonderful community!

I highly recommend this inn. It’s extraordinary and romantic. We stayed in the Spencer room in the main building which was perfect for a couple as it had a fireplace and bath tub with room for two. The living room / lobby is a great place to get a drink at by the fireplace and the breakfast next morning was great too. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, this is definitely the place. It’s also very close to restaurants and bars in Lenox, about 5-10 minutes by walk.

What an amazing experience. We stayed 2 nights in the Marion Slocum suite. It was beautiful ,comfortable and romantic. The remote controlled gas fireplace was the crowning touch. The morning breakfasts were spectacular and greatly exceeded our expectations. The main Inn feels like you are in a postcard from 1879. The owner Stan , is an exceptional host. He is a gentleman, well spoken and fully committed to his guests experience. He even texted us a few times just to make sure we were getting everything we needed. A really nice touch. In the room was a book he prepared that contained every bit of information about the property and the surrounding area including his personal restaurant recommendations. Wow, what an easy button for us. Their website is most functional and spot on accurate. We are already making plans for our next visit. Bravo Hampton Terrace!

We searched for the ideal place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Breakfast was fabulous, accommodations were cozy and just as described on their website. The location was perfect to discover small hometown feel with the area restaurants and shops. The people were all welcoming wherever you ventured. Perfect place to slow down, relax and soak in all the charm of New England.

A relaxing, romantic fall weekend away! The accommodations were amazing/as expected, breakfast was a treat with great variety, and the Inn's ambiance was exceedingly charming. Centrally-located to several good restaurants and local sites. Stan is a consummate host and we hope to be back soon.
