Homestead Inn

Staff were extremely helpful in forwarding a coat which had been left behind. This arrived successfully at our next location in minimal time. Many thanks. More generally, this was a quiet time of year, which may have helped our stay.

Treadwell rooms are fine but it might have helped to have have known in advance that they are independent units and open onto a quiet street. This may have been clear in the description but I did not register that. No problems with the room and this would likely not have changed my choice of hotel.

I was unaware that we could have had breakfast if we stayed in the main inn, not the annex. I would have like to do that. Also, our room was very cold and we didn't know who to contact -- I know there are people there but we didn't see or find them!

Not only is the staff (especially Nicole) the most professional staff I have ever encountered at an Inn, they are also the most empathetic and accommodating! The Homestead Inn is THE BEST place to stay in Western Connecticut. Great rooms, amazing staff, terrific breakfasts. I can not recommend The Homestead enough! Affordable, clean, comfortable and high quality!

The layout of the room was a little strange with sink outside the bathroom, sink drain not working properly
