Breakfast was excellent - very tasty and plenty to eat. Bed was comfortable.

I appreciate it's a historic building, but the sloping floors, particularly in our bedroom, we're a little disconcerting when moving about.

Breakfast was delish and staff friendly. The restaurant on site had good food and healthy choices. Location great for Lamoille Bike Trail.

If you love old historical buildings, this one is a gem. The staff was very gracious, attentive, and friendly. If you are tired from a long bike ride, you need to go anywhere because they have everything for fun, good dining, and a great tavern. Why a 4-star rating on cleanliness? Because they could do better with the shower curtain.

Breakfast was great. The struscure looked autenthic old style, very comfortable and nice.

It’s old, even if they try to keep up with some modern stuff, you will have open tubes, small bathroom and so on.

Very convenient location for Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Owners very accommodating for our group and all our bikes. Very funky, old building - not a single level floor in the place. Nice common areas.to.meet other travelers. There is an OK bar/restaurant in the same building.

There's not much else in walking distance.

Took my mom to VT for the weekend. When we pulled up to the Smugglers Notch Inn, we were very impressed by the size, and overall welcoming appearance. We couldn't wait to grab our kindle's and sit on the front porch. Unfortunately, that's where the good impression left. When we entered, we immediately noticed a dusty, musty smell. the furniture is VERY dated and didn't look very inviting. After checking in, we proceeded to our suite. There again, we were disappointed. We thought for booking a two-room suite, we'd at least have a small common area, maybe with a coffee pot. Nope. We walked into a hall, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. no sitting area. The rooms were very dated and in need of some attention. There was a major floor to ceiling crack in the wall of one bedroom, and holes in the bathroom wall. The decor was even falling apart. I think the worst of it was there was no heat in either of our bedrooms. With temps dropping to the 40s at night, and insulation lacking in those old Victorian homes, it got COLD at night. and 2 blankets didn't help.

Room was clean and nicely decorated.Breakfast was made to order and tasted great. I was surprised by the location and parking and condition of the lobby. It was in an old building on a main street and was more like a Bed and breakfast than a hotel. Everyone was nice there however and it appeared they had loyal customers.
