Lithia Springs Resort

As always, great place to stay -- when they give you the room you booked. Heated pool was awesome.

Gave us the keys to a room that was under construction, then tried to pawn us off to their other property. 45 mins later, we got a room that was much smaller than the one I booked, which also had a broken fireplace. The staff did work very hard to fix the situation, and on the second night they got us into the right room. But still. Lithia is still the best place to stay in Ashland by far, and I can see why they are investing in building 8 new units. But its a little worrisome that they don't have a fail-proof system in place for correctly booking the units they already have. And tacking on $5 for breakfast, in addition to the 'resort fee'? Hmm.

I’d like to start my review by saying that on my recent visit, the charge for breakfast was $5, not $18, and a beautiful cabin with bed, comfy sofa bed, and soaking tub was about $150/nt, a real bargain for two friends sharing a room. The grounds are beautiful and I’m looking forward to returning when it’s not raining. The pool and jacuzzi were incredibly welcoming on a chilly couple of nights. Very helpful and welcoming staff all around. Plenty of spots indoor and out to relax, read, and sip some wine.

Unfortunately hot tub/jacuzzi was not available until 9 am - not accommodating to travelers!

We spent four spectacular fall days at this lovely resort visiting Ashland and am easy drive to Jacksonville. Our cottage had plenty of room for four women, a lovely hot water soaking tub, and super helpful staff. Mateo, the facilities engineer, quickly and efficiently repaired our gas fireplace, answered additional questions and was super helpful. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We are coming back!

Comfortable beds.

Shower had very little water pressure and broken temperature nob, cupboard doors didn't close, very loud refrigerator, peeling paint. The interior needs refurbishing. And double billed for four night stay. The $20/day facility fee is a joke as guests are charged extra for breakfast and wine tasting. This place is over priced!

We recently spent 2 nights at LIthia Springs Resort along with our 2 pups. The grounds were nice and the room was lovely. Sadly, we had a bad experience while checking out. I accidently left a shopping bag full of $200 worth of items on the bedroom dresser which I had bought on our trip. When we unpacked our car once we got home, I immediately phoned the front desk. Well, 5 days later and daily voicemails to the front desk, we finally heard back from the manager, Amanda. She told us firmly that she believed her housekeepers when they told her that our room did not have my shopping bag. My advice: Be sure to thoroughly scan your room upon departure and leave NOTHING behind. We had planned on returning to either Lithia Springs or Ashland Springs on our next trip to Ashland, but have wisely decided against that.
