Montague Inn

The hotel itself was in a good location, but the surrounding neighborhood was terrible. The area felt unsafe, with a very troubling atmosphere and noticeable crime concerns. We constantly had the feeling that we were being watched as potential targets for theft or worse. As a result, we felt extremely uncomfortable and ultimately decided to cut our stay short.

Although we had specifically booked a room advertised as having a private bathroom, we discovered upon arrival that the bathroom was actually located in the hallway rather than inside the room itself. While no one else used it during our stay, it still did not meet the reasonable expectation of a truly private bathroom.

The place is.full of history and plenty of room to sit inside, relax read a book or go outside to walk and enjoy the view or the park across the street. There is a patio outside. There is also a children's zoo across the street The staff very pleasant with sharing history of the B&B and/or Hoyt park.

The staff, history, quiet, comfortable, breakfast just an amazing place.

We should have asked for help with the hot water in the shower.

Absolutely beautiful inn! All of the attention to detail is incredible. The staff were incredibly kind!

The location isn’t greatest, but once you’re on the property, it feels like you are completely somewhere else
