Coffee and bagels no hot food

Met expectations as a bed & breakfast well. An actual home from the late 1920's that qualifies as a mansion., just slightly the worse for wear, but still very elegant. Our room was large and comfortable, with a clean modern bathroom and its own sitting room. A lot of luxury for a b&b. The hot breakfast presented in a large dining room was good. The staff was friendly and informative; yet the price was extremely reasonable. Close to downtown Saginaw, which is making a significant comeback. This is a great alternative to cookie cutter chain motels, and not far off I-75 and 675. M-13 goes right by it and is main St. Saginaw.

Quiet, cozy we stayed in the carriage house. The coffee maker was not working.Aside from that we slept well.

Can’t say anything negative about the property it was very well kept.

House is very interesting and I like the shared gathering rooms.

No coffee in rooms, and no coffee until 8 am. No individual room temperature control (some rooms extremely warm). Fireplace did not function in our room (but still had instructions on the mantel), tv remote didn’t work either. Didn’t look like the shared areas carpets were vacuumed daily.

The location and the design of the house

Not able to sleep good, the next room was up till we left like 3 a.m, but other than that it was all good.

Very large room; comfortable bed; nice big breakfast; price was great; close to Dow Centre

It was a bit of a challenge to regulate the temperature in our room. It’s a very old house, so you can hear conversations and footsteps very clearly from other guests. I’m an early riser but no coffee available until 8am.
