Montague Inn

Room was warm and quiet. Christmas decorations on the main building were pretty.

We paid extra for a deluxe room, which advertised a water view. What we got was a room in the old garage, separate from the actual inn by about 50 yards. There was a view of water from our room, but it was obstructed by storage crates and a garbage dumpster. Our room had no character, like the rooms in the main building. Public areas in the main building were not very clean. It was nothing like the experience the advertisements promised.

Location and history

The beddings were very warm. I thought they were electric or heated but my husband said, fleece. It made all the difference. The staff were friendly and the food ok. We were planning to stop by Frankenmuth but the weather turned bad. But over all, it was a very nice experience.

We couldn’t make heads or tails about the thermostat. The room was a bit chilly because of that. But the bedding was really cozy and warm so it was ok.

Didn't have breakfast, have to leave early.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very poor breakfast for a b&b.

Beds were bad. Breakfast only compares to a cheap motel. Not what we expected from a highly touted b&b.

Everything!! Especially Naomi and Melissa! They deserve a raise.

Not one thing was wrong.

Montague was full of fancy and delight. The main house was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the carriage house, where we stayed, was spacious and had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

There were some plumbing issues in one of our rooms.
