Grand Canyon Railway Hotel

My husband is in a wheelchair and the room was exceptional for handicap accessibility. The hotel is right next to the train station. Plus numerous restaurants a couple of blocks away.

This was awesome! The hotel was great and the packages they offered were fit to everyone's needs. Food was yummy and a nice variety. The train was well worth the investment. I highly recommend using this business.

No hot water in the shower

Looked more like a normal establishment than I had expected - thought it’d be a little more historical looking but it was a nice place to stay. Clean and very convenient to the train which we took the next morning after arriving the evening before. upon returning from the Canyon trip we visited the pool area making use of the hot tub. Nice clean space although the hot tub jets were broken - if you turned them on it was master blaster setting and shot water all over the place. Not relaxing so had to turn off the sets. Didn’t try any of the food services. Nice place to stay if you are taking the train.

the person who handled our reservations did a great job! We had adjoining rooms which was perfect for us. The food at The Harvey Restaurant was very good and there was entertainment with dinner. The rooms were spacious. There was a refrigerator, but not a microwave. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Walking distance to passenger train to grand canyon. Room was clean and quiet.

This was our second visit to Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel. It's a lovely hotel and the train ride entertaining and an easy way to get to the canyon rim without contributing to traffic. Wi-Fi was adequate but not "good." (In their defense most Wi-Fi and cellular service once we got north of Phoenix was bad. I think most Wi-Fi connections in northern AZ is via satellite) The only negative about this hotel is the restaurant that is included in their packages. I would be disappointed if it was a $7.99 buffet bit if I recall correctly the dinner is about $34 per person. Skip the restaurant and walk over to the strip and eat. One additional comment; I spent my entire working life in the service industry. I can say that the entire staff we interacted with at the hotel, railway and restaurant were among the best I've ever encountered in the U.S. Compliments to whoever is responsible for that aspect of training. Excellent!
