The White Hart Hotel

My husband and I stayed at The White Hart for our civil wedding celebration with our families, and we had the most magical stay in the Unburlane Suite. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished and perfectly blends quintessential British pub charm with a modern, luxurious feel. Every single member of staff was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive, the service felt so personal throughout our stay. The food was excellent, the rooms were stunning and comfortable, and the location was perfect, all within walking distance of Kingston. We truly felt so well looked after and couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion.

Onze badkamer liep niet goed door. Ook de douche was vaak echt te heet of juist heel koud. Naar London is het met ov nog 1 uur, goed om rekening mee te houden.

Noise from aircon heater all night even thou power turned off, staff very helpful and changed rooms but only after first night as hotel full. Second night much better. Stayed here several times never had a problem before would stay again and recommend.

The hotel itself was lovely, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was great for attending the concert nearby. I also liked that the hotel was dog friendly, which gave it a welcoming atmosphere.

Unfortunately there was no hot water during my stay, which after returning late both evenings was extremely disappointing. The first night, as I had been out all day and arrived back late, I assumed it would simply be resolved by the following evening. Unfortunately the same issue happened again the next night. I understand the hotel’s point that I could have gone down to reception, however both nights I returned very late and I do feel hot water is a basic essential in any hotel stay and not something guests should have to chase up themselves. A partial refund was also mentioned during the complaint process, however this was never followed up on afterwards, which added to the disappointment.
