Overall, we had a lovely stay and would rate the hotel 4 stars. The hotel itself was clean, the facilities were great, and most of the staff were friendly. We travelled as a family with a 2 year old and a 3 month old baby, so little things made a big difference to our experience. On arrival, we were dropped off around the corner from the hotel, which made getting to reception quite difficult with two young children, luggage, and a pushchair. When we reached reception, we were simply pointed towards a luggage trolley rather than being offered any assistance. A little help at that moment would have made a big difference and created a much better first impression. We also had an issue with the air conditioning in our room leaking water onto the floor. Unfortunately, our 2 year old slipped on the water, which really frightened them. Although accidents can happen, it would have been reassuring if this had been addressed more urgently. Another minor disappointment was that the parasol by our sunbeds was broken. We reported it, but it wasn't replaced, which made it difficult to keep our baby out of the sun during the hottest parts of the day. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our holiday and there were far more positives than negatives. With a little more attention to families with young children and quicker responses to maintenance issues, this hotel could easily provide an even better experience. We would happily return and hope these small areas can be improved.

Booked at very short notice for a short family break (myself, my husband, 7 year old son and 12 year old Daughter). We had a wonderful time, good entertainment programme that isn't shoved in your face but there if you want it, we joined in with many activities that were well run and made to be fun. Several swimming pools to choose from. Music shuts down just after 10pm so not your place if you want to party late but perfect for families, very geared up for younger children but my children still had a fab time. Great variety of food in the restaurant, hot, constantly being restocked, free drinks dispensers, wine etc Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We loved our room with a private pool as have us a good mix between hotel holiday and villa holiday! All staff were very friendly and helpful, we were able to keep our room for a late 6pm check out. Highly recommend, would return in a heartbeat

Our stay at Viva Blue & Spa couldn't have been better. It was our girls' (aged 4 and 6) first holiday abroad, and this resort made it truly special from start to finish. The photos on the website genuinely do not do the resort justice. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with staff constantly working to keep everything looking immaculate. The whole resort feels clean, well cared for, and family-focused. The pool facilities are excellent, particularly for younger children. Our girls absolutely loved them and there was always something for them to enjoy. The buffet was another highlight, with a fantastic variety of food every day. There were plenty of options for both adventurous eaters and picky little ones, which made mealtimes stress-free. Our room was spotless, and the daily maid service kept everything fresh and tidy throughout our stay. A very special mention goes to Alba from the animation team. She was incredibly kind and patient with our two girls, despite having to navigate their constant excited chatter and language barriers! She made them feel so welcome and helped create memories they'll be talking about for a long time. The pirate disco and foam parties were the absolute highlights of the holiday for the girls and were worth the trip alone. If your budget allows, I would highly recommend upgrading to a private pool room. It gave us the perfect space to retreat to when the afternoon heat became a little too much, allowing the girls to cool down and relax in our own private area before heading back out. Overall, I can't recommend Viva Blue & Spa highly enough for families with young children. It was the perfect setting for our girls' first holiday, and we'll cherish the memories for years to come.

We had the opportunity to stay for a week with our family at this great hotel. Everything is perfect with lots of activities for children and daily entertainment. Food of all kinds and all tastes, the sea is close, the rooms are very clean and neat. I recommend it to everyone, we will come back to this perfect hotel with great pleasure!!!

We are a family of 5 split over 3 generations and there was something for everyone and we loved it, had a great time and only the Playa de Muro tourist express (which didn't turn up) let us down but that's not the hotel's fault.

We have just returned from our 4th visit here and once again we have had the most amazing 10 nights as a family! We can’t find any faults at all with this hotel, it has everything you could possibly need for a family with young children and we love it here as much as our children do! The food is delicious and so many options for breakfast, lunch & dinner in the restaurant, all the staff there work so hard, our favourites in particular are Pepe who is amazing with our children and makes a real effort each time to greet them and make them smile and also Miguel who is so friendly and funny and always has a chat with us, it’s lovely to see the welcoming faces! You also have the snack bar serving lots of options in between restaurant hours and also the children’s favourite - the sweet corner! Serving lots of different flavoured ice creams with all the toppings to choose from, also cookies, doughnuts, muffins, milkshakes & a freezer filled with ice lollies everyday from 11am-5pm. The animation team is wonderful and work so hard everyday with so much enthusiasm, in particular David, Kiki, Alba, Antonella & Laura our children love! Lots of activities everyday at kids club from arts & crafts in the morning, medal games, making cookies, planting in the garden, turning into a pirate & having pirate lunch etc. so much to keep the children entertained followed by the pirate disco each evening with lots of dancing and of course Bufo & Katy mascots each evening which our children love and look forward to. The pools are great with plenty of sun loungers around in the main pool and selection club oasis pool, the slides are great for small children too which our children have a lot of fun on. There’s also the park with two bouncy castles - so much to keep the children entertained each day! The main thing that stands out for us each time we visit is how hard every person works at this hotel, from the staff at reception, the bar and restaurant staff, the animation team, the cleaners, the gardeners, the ladies at the little shop, each person working at this hotel works incredibly hard and does a wonderful job at making this hotel run so excellently! We booked a week at Viva Blue to celebrate our honeymoon as a family. It was our first time taking our two children (Albie, 6 and Nancy, 4) to an all inclusive resort and I couldn't be happier that we chose Viva Blue. The hotel is perfectly set up to cater for families and children are at the centre of everything they do, which worked brilliantly for us and was exactly what we were looking for. Despite being very family focused, the quality of food and drink was high and there were facilities more suited to adults such as the spa which is adults only after 4pm. However - if you are looking for somewhere with romantic restaurants, late night dining, and adults only pools - Viva Blue isn't for you. The timings for meals and everything the hotel does is designed with families in mind and there were lots of children there when we visited, as I expected and wanted there to be! We stayed in Selection Club one bedroom apartments and were given apartments next to each other as we requested, as well as welcome cava and red wine to celebrate the special occasion. Angela welcomed us at the Selection Club check in and was absolutely wonderful - great with the kids, so helpful and friendly, and started our holiday off in the best possible way. Angela helped me via the WhatsApp service when I had some enquiries and also sent a plate of treats to our room when my son was unwell and needed the doctor to stop by, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you, Angela! As a side note - the doctor was available very quickly and visited our room, not something you hopefully ever need, but good to know that service is there especially when travelling with family. There are endless activities for children run by the animation team, special thanks to Antonella, Laura and Christian, but every member of the team deserves huge thanks and praise for the work they do - they never stop and were always so friendly and full of energy! Both our kids loved the activities during the day, and it's great to have an option for them in the evening if they do not want to watch the show - loom bands, Uno, football, video games, plenty to choose from. During the day they did pool games, medal games, t-shirt painting, cookie making, there was something for everyone and the kids were so happy all week - especially with Sweet Corner and the donuts, cookies and ice cream on tap! Evening dining and entertainment impossible to fault - a great selection of fresh food and lots of premium ingredients, very nice wine, always seating available, and a varied entertainment schedule. Everything is wrapped up by around 10:30pm but that was perfect for us and it meant the rooms were quiet for sleeping. If you are looking for a reasonably priced family holiday with excellent family-focused facilities, a beautiful beach near by, and the best people, just book it. I can be a bit fussy and also never thought I would return to the same place twice, but I honestly can't fault Viva Blue and we are already looking at returning next year for longer. Also - there is Fun World nearby, our kids loved it, an outdoor inflatable park - 11 euros for one hour, 5 mins walk from the hotel. Along that road there are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants - with, according to my son, the very best Pokemon card selection...... If I had one request it would be for the pool to open slightly earlier in the morning and for it to be heated as the kids (and adults!) got a bit chilly, but that really is the only thing I would change. We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and it is in a great location. The beach is perfect for young children. I absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend to others. The food was good and the choice of drinks. Wine was in bottles rather than a pump like other hotels we have stayed in. If you have booked this hotel you can expect a wonderful time.
