VIVA Blue & Spa

Our second stay in as many years and the hotel lived up to our previous high expectations. Almost everything is excellent - the food, the location, the facilities but what really stands out is the service and the people working there. In particular i would love to say a huge thanks and commend the superb animation staff. They are all really engaging, hard working, patient and fun. My daughter Leah absolutely loved them, particularly the girls, so huge thanks to Antonella, Laura, Alba and particularly Kiki who went above and beyond with Leah. She will really miss you!

Just came back from 1week here. Located in a quiet area, not to far fram the beach. This was our third time in a row to this hotel, still loving it. The staff, the food and atmosphere were all very plesant. We were upgraded to a familyroom, with view over the lake. Very calm in the evenings, and so interesting for the kids with te fishes jumping. We were very pleased with the cleaning, both in our room and the hotell. The food, we were very satisfied with the variety, we had all inclucive. Breakfastbuffet, lunchbuffet/ pool bar, dinnerbuffet and snacks, icecream, fruits in between. The pool area, satisfied and the kids loved it. 11yrs. I think smaller kids would love it even more. But Im sad to see the people occuping sunbeds they wont use for several hours. But all in all we had a great stay this time as well, and would love to come back.

Nice to relax with family without disruptions. Quiet hotel for families with kids. Easy access to alcudia beach, and sightseeing Mallorca. Well equipeed store inside hotel. Rooms and hotel area cleaned everyday, only negative would be albufera bad scent evening-morning and cold water in kids pools while temperature outside was 24-29 degrees.

This was our second trip to Viva Blue and Spa, and we loved it just as much this year as last. I am a single mum and was travelling with 2 kids (11 and 8). The staff here are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. They solved any question quickly and with a smile. Particular mention to the reception team (with a special mention to Xavi), and Carmen and Caroline from the management team, who all went above and beyond. The housekeeping team were super friendly and very thorough. Our room was spotless and so were all the facilities, pool areas and pools. There are plenty of activities and places for relaxation as well as energetic enjoyment for all ages. The kids club team are always so friendly and energetic and we loved the football and evening entertainment in particular. The food was all amazing and far exceeded expectations. I am gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian and my allergies were expertly catered for by Tony, Aina and the team, who went to the unexpected effort of making me a large, outrageously delicious dinner off menu every night, as well as vegan, gluten free cakes which were some of the best I’ve ever had. As with every other staff member we encountered, nothing was too much trouble for them and I never once felt even a tiny bit like I was a hassle by having so many requirements. The little shop on site has everything you might need at the same prices as shops outside the hotel, and the staff there are just as friendly as elsewhere. The room key is a bracelet that doubles up as your payment for drinks/ snacks, which just makes everything so easy. From our experience, it never got too busy for me or the two kids. There are many more things which makes this hotel absolutely brilliant. We can’t recommend the hotel highly enough and are already excited to come back again.

Super sauber und ausgesprochen freundliches Personal

The hotel was chosen as a Honeymoon destination for our family. It had great reviews on TA and was a great location for the beach. Fab welcome from the smiling staff at reception on arrival and then an even better welcome from the lovely Angela. She explained lots of details about the hotel facilities to us. Angela gave us a glass of fizz, juice for the children, some fresh fruit and cookies - so a great start. We requested rooms next door to each other and luckily we got them. Perfect. Were were in a Club room and were All inclusive which worked out perfect for us. We found all the drinks and all the food to be great with many, many choices. There were also themed evenings. They even made me a really nice Negroni. My husband said the beer was good too. I really enjoyed the Cava at lunchtime. I think my daughter tried Barcelo and coke and said that was nice. It was a bonus having the fridge stocked on arrival with various drinks. The children aged 6 (Albie) and 4 (Nancy) loved the sweet corner for the cookies and ice cream. Daytime entertainment was a huge bonus for them too. Pool area was spotlessly clean with plenty of sunbeds but we wished it opened a bit earlier - maybe 9am instead of 10am - the kids were keen to get in the lovely pool asap. Spa/indoor pool etc were beautiful and our son in law had a massage and was very impressed with that. The hard working staff in the self service restaurant were amazing and always helped us to arrange a bigger table. The lovely staff cooking the food were always friendly and helpful. If we needed help they were there for us. The icing on the wedding cake for us was The Animation team - they ALL worked so so hard keeping all the guests happy but were totally brilliant with the younger children. Our grandchildren especially loved Antonella and Christian. Our granddaughter took a real shine to the hardworking happy/smiling Antonella and our grandson loved the football skills and friendliness/funniness of Christian. For us they made our Honeymoon holiday special as the children were so very happy. As I said though ALL of the Animation team worked very, very hard all the time. Day and Night!! Non stop!! We would definitely like to come back as a family - why not??? We were all very happy at the hotel - Well Done to you all!!

We have recently returned from a 10 night stay at viva blue and spa. We travelled with 4 Yr old and 2 Yr old and stayed self catering. Firstly, we want to give a massive shout out to Xavi on reception. Whilst all the staff we met were really polite and helpful, Xavi checked us in, was extremely helpful and made sure we knew what was what. Accommodation was clean and tidy. We had a garden room which the children loved. Added bonus that there is also Cbeebies available. Only minor criticism of the self catering was that the kitchenette was a bit limited on space to store food bought ( ie. Tins/ cereals - non fridge items). The supermarket on site sells most of what you need and is price matched against many of the spar shops located on the strip. We never ever struggled getting a sun lounger by the pool and we rocked up most days after 10am. Parasols are plentyful ( i think every two loungers had a parasol). We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on food ( or drink). There is a mini disco for little ones which the kids seem to like. Can't comment on adult shows as we just about managed to stay awake for mini disco. The hotel has a spa area which children are allowed in up to 4pm. There was no charge to use the spa area and the kids loved it. We made the most of the sauna / steam room too. The hotel also offered a free shuttle service to alcudia market which was great and a nice surprise. There was also free WiFi throughout the hotel. Hotel is in a good location being set back from the strip where there are plenty of restaurants /bars. It is a 5 minute walk to playa de muro beach and there is also a tourist train stop outside the hotel. The hotel is also about 15 minutes in a taxi to the port of Alcudia. All in all, a great location. We would certainly return!!

Lovely facilities but the team definitely makes the experience! Excellent service especially from Miriam, Migui and Yessi who keep smiling and going out of their way to make the hotel guests day with their commitment and hard work during the very busy days at the Lapapa bar during the day. Can't fault the food service team either who turn over tables seamlessly with grace and friendly attitudes. The evening bar staff work together excellently and all are super friendly individuals. Alex is a star who goes out of his way to add flair to the drinks and service. The entertainment team is extremely friendly and child focussed which is just wonderful for the kids and parents alike. All round, well done team! The hotel appears to be cutting back on standards having visited once before last year but the staff are maintaining a high standard on behalf of viva blue throughout. Hat off the the chefs too. Many thanks 🙏🏼

It was great very good for family and the good was awsome thet almost tade everything and the hotel way very close to the ocean.

Im here now and i just wanted to post to reassure any foodies out there who are reading reviews about food Not being great. The food has been gorgeous in my opinion. Its a smaller buffet set up than some of the fancier hotels so perhaps doesnt Look as aesthetically pleasing but everything is fresh and tasty. Take your time and look out for the hidden little additions to cook like you would at home. Such as seeds and crunchy banana chips & chewy dates for ur morning yoghurt, walnuts &honey to add to ur Blue cheese salad, pesto and chilli oils for ur pasta or pizza, lemon wedges over paella, salad dressings. Peanut butter and jelly for ur bagel. I read reviews and was ready to eat out but its been fantastic better than sa coma last year which was a 5 star. Also kids buffet has fries every night and then Burgers/nuggets/ meatballs. Theres always a plain pasta and red sauce and pizza at adult buffet too. Thenself serve ice cream with sprinkles/ jelly/ chocolate sauce. Win win. The serve ur own drinks works great especially with young kids when time is of the essence- no Waiting around to get someones Attention. Make ur own sprizters with the prosecco & then dash from the sprite machine next door. I think people need to just browse and think Outside of the box in pairing the food together like you would at home it’s all there. Its been the best holiday otherwise as well, PVT transfer from bernat was great, we have private pool selection club room. This hotel has everything you need small Simple touches are great- the shop that has same price as main street, laundry room With detergent built in to machines, play area in restaurant with see through windows and only one Entrance. Multiple short and simple activites for kids- one day it was just lego- a box of lego put on a table, perfect for our wee one who just needed quiet time indoors and no one talking to him for a bit. Other day it was cocktail making for kids. Watching fruit and juice in a blender and then judging the taste. Book it enjoy!
