"Cosy little house in a picturesque Welsh village."

Sweet little house in Richard Burton's family village, as seen in "Mr.Burton" biopic movie. Beautiful surroundings, also a great starting point for walking, bike rides and mountain climbing. (Just 40 min drive from Pen-y-Fan) The house ittself was just lovely. Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, everything nice and clean. And even though the weather was very cold (minus teperatures) the cottage was warm and cosy. We had a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Nothing to dislike. Maybe just a lack of parking space as you have to park along the busy road, but this was not a big issue anyway.

"Eventful."

House was cosy, welcoming and easy to access keys. Christmas tree was a nice touch.

Location tricky, dog was unhappy with noises in lounge from traffic and passing people, right on the busy street.

"Cosy, comfortable cottage — a perfect getaway"

We found Selah cottage comfortable, cosy and in a good location for exploring local area full of lush nature, but also to venture out further afield. The beds (including the sofa bed) were very comfortable, and the duvets and pillows were absolutely divine. The kitchen is well equipped and there is thoughtful selection of books and games which can provide entertainment on a rainy day. Parking on the main road was not an issue and we always could find a space. Communication with the owners was smooth and effortless, although everything we needed was provided.

As a note for taller guests, the upstairs ceilings are quite low, and even with clear signage, it does take a bit of getting used to... of course this is nothing that can be easily fixed! Just part of the cottage.

"Great stay and a great location for exploring."

Lovely little property. Had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and great location for what we wanted.

The property next door has a bedroom underneath the dining room with a window overlooking the garden and we felt like we couldn’t use the garden because of this. Would have liked to use the fire pit and sit in the garden in the evening but next doors kids were sleeping in that bedroom from 8pm. Steps down to garden were very steep. Having said this we would definitely stay here again if we were in this area.

The property was in a good location. There were lots of places nearby to explore.. Dining area and kitchen very spacious. My little boy enjoyed his stay.

The sofa bed in the living room was not comfy.
