We’ve stayed a couple of times now at this property, it’s perfect for us as it’s close to family. You have everything you need. Beds are super comfy. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. What more do you need

"Amazing place to relax and explore nature. Highly recommend!"

We are coming to this lovely cottage for the last few years. It became our tradition at least once a year to come for the weekend. We love this place. It’s always clean and has everything we need for a family getaway.

"Excellent location for exploring."

10.0

The cottage was a good size and reflected the pictures on the website. All we needed facility wise within the cottage was to hand and we found the communication with the hosts excellent, the information folder was also really informative and useful. Car parking wasn't an issue as there was plenty close by. The Colliers arms pub was good for food and drink, it's on the same road and a steady 20 minute walk. The Miners pub opposite is open over the weekend, both were friendly. Location wise the cottage is in a good spot, it's a 10 minute walk into Afan forest, or a 15 minute drive gets you to the lovely Aberavon beach or to the edge of the beautiful Brecon beacons. Would book again no problem.

Can't really think of anything, personally a flatter pillow would have been nice but it's hardly a deal breaker.

"A great time had by all. Even the grumpy kids want to go back."

10.0

Everything. Very clean and homely. My 12 yr old lad found the click clack sofa bed really comfortable. Great views out the back. People mention the parking as a negative but you can park like 25 paces away from the front door. From reading reviews I was expecting a minute or 2 walk but it’s more like a 10 second walk. We stayed with a 12,8 & 5 year old + Labrador and we will be back next year for sure. . . . Hoping for more of that yummy homemade Jam that was left for us. V.nice touch.

If I’m to be picky, Access to the back door might be a bit dodgy if you aren’t in fine fettle. But to counter that. . . . There’s a front door.

"A relaxing, fresh breeze and family friendly."

10.0

The Mountain View and fresh breeze was amazing. There’s a local shop less than a minute walk. The cottage was very clean and everything well explained in the welcome pack folder.

No parking at the actual property but there’s another provision up the road by the chapel. The location is on the main road and if one has young children you need to closely watch them especially if the main door opens.

"Great little cottage, good location, excellent value for money."

9.0

The location was great. Close to the coast and also the Brecon Beacons. Great walking (and biking apparently!). Lovely, clean cottage. Well equipped kitchen - with a proper coffee machine. Comfy beds and grateful for the fans and ceiling fan. Thank you for the tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes.

The sofa wasn't very comfortable and we had issues making it into a bed.
