Antica Locanda

Mi aspettavo di trovare qualcuno all'arrivo e meno polvere in giro. Comunque una così carina struttura dovrebbe essere curata di più.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura 4 giorni a inizio ottobre come base x un week end lungo tra Pienza e Montepulciano. ...La posizione è ottima in pieno centro in modo tale che potevamo tranquillamente muoverci a piedi all'interno di questo incantevole Borgo. ...ottima l'accoglienza. Ottima la pulizia della camera e ottimo il servizio della colazione.....Non mancava nulla! !!l'unica se vogliamo pecca sono le scale ripide ripida con gradoni molto alti per andare alla stanza non essendoci un ascensore e la fatica quando arrivi su si fa sentire! !!ma x un soggiorno breve è una cosa accettabile direi....riguardo il parcheggio.;c'era possibilità lungo la strada sotto la cinta muraria che delimita il centro. ..magari durante il giorno non aGe volevo trovare posto ma alla sera quasi sempre fattibile....Nel complesso giudizio più che positivo e struttura che consiglio assolutamente! !

I’m not a high maintenance traveler and I do understand that places in Europe are old but this place was far below even basic expectations. The photos and descriptions made it seem more like a regular b&b but it’s actually an apartment style attic room with an old broken down mattress. See pics. The room was cold, had a broken sink, and was furnished more like a hostel. Worst night in any hotel.com I’ve ever booked. I’m truly baffled by the other reviews. Be ware if you stay here and know what you’re getting. It’s located at the end of a busy street. You will not enjoy scenes as depicted in the website. Rather an old tile roof. Breakfast included decomposing apples. Service was fine and friendly. I feel bad for leaving a poor review but it’s honest and I wish someone had warned me before I booked.

Très désagréable surprise en arrivant (sous la pluie) : porte de bois, personne pour l'accueil. La propriétaire aurait cherché à nous joindre mais sans succès. Pas de sa faute sans doute mais devant la situation elle aurait pu prendre des dispositions pour assurer l'accueil. Sommes parvenus à force de bruit dans la rue à Nous faire ouvrir la porte par une voisine de l'immeuble et avons trouvé la clé de la chambre sur un PC sur le bureau de la réception sans rien de plus. Le lendemain, la propriétaire nous a pratiquement ignorés. Pour le reste, pas de quoi pavoiser : 3 étages de marches, pdej buffet banal, douche minus.

Carla, the owner, is amazing and very helpful. The location couldn't be better, and the historical building is just a delight to stay in. The only downside was that the mattress on the bed was not particularly comfortable for me. Note: it is on an upper floor, so you will have to go up 2 or 3 flights of stairs - but that is part of the charm of historical buildings...

Esperienza positivissima sia a livello di struttura (carina, comoda e centrale), sia sui servizi (colazione, pulizia e wifi) sia per la persona di Carla (una bella e simpatica signora, cordiale, preparatissima sui consigli e suggerimenti, professionale al punto giusto...troppo sarebbe impersonale) sia per Pienza e dintorni...incantevoli!

Pienza is a wonderful old city and so was an apartment we stayed in. Just picture perfect.

La posizione delle camere è magnifica sulla via centrale di Pienza e la sig.ra Carla è molto gentile e ha fatto di tutto per una ottima accoglienza. Devo dire che le scale ripide (si tratta di un’abitazione antica) non sono adatte a chi ha problemi di deambulazione. Altri piccoli inconvenienti potrebbero essere importanti in estate tipo il condizionatore portatile abbastanza rumoroso e poco efficiente. Tutto sommato, però, gli aspetti positivi sono di gran lunga maggiori.

Il mio soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, sicuramente rilassante, ottimo anche per famiglie con bimbi.
